Could you list up the multitracks somewhere? I am sure there at least have to be 1 song in there that is big enough for the multitrack pack (and hey, genre variation is always nice)
Yeah of course, I intended to do so once I’ve recouped and checked everything (I discovered that a David Guetta song was a remix, for instance).
I’m sure that I have Kavinsky-Nightcall, Daft Punk-Technologic, Radiohead-Nude and Massive Attack-Teardrop, but I’m afraid some will need work to be RB compatible.
In the meantime, I found out that a very generous fellow on Reddit uploaded some multitracks on https://mega.co.nz/#F!OxpC0CbD!DnEcG2E6MT1HZT0gfFd-Bw (you can found a complete list here http://potzorbie.blogspot.fr/2013/11/multitracks.html)
Mostly GH/RB moggs but some interesting stuff too, easier to pick up if you sort files by size. I call dibs on Muse – Muscle Museum ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I missed this post. Had anyone attempted Born To Run before? I’d try to take that one on. That would be a perfect choice.
I didn’t claim they were unknown or niche, I just made a point that I don’t know how strong of a case can be made for them to fall under mainstream material in the grand scheme of things.
Not that it’s my call; I’m just siding with Farottone here.
Oh that’s cool. I’ll figure out another one then.
I think whoever Bring Me the Horizon is falls under the category of “popular within their own genre” because as far as mainstream goes, I’ve never heard of them before. Not to say they aren’t big or that someone can’t make it for any other week, but I don’t know if it’d work for this compilation.
Isn’t there an Interpol track from one of the Guitar Hero games that hasn’t been customed yet? I’m thinking it’s Slow Hands. If so, I’ll do that for this.
I guess I didn’t make it clear but what I meant was to essentially have two mini packs to make the regular-sized valentine’s pack. I wasn’t saying to have an author do one of each type pro- and anti-, but to have say four pick pro- and another four pick anti- to make just an eight pack of songs, rather than do the same thing split over two weeks and to celebrate both sides of the spectrum on the same day.
Mmm, if anyone else is interested in doing anti-Valentines songs, shall we do a “Team Love vs Team Despair” fake competition? We could tease the thing in advance and ask the community to vote their favourite week of the two, to keep the engaged.I repeat, fake competition, it’s all in good fun, if we do it. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
why not just do both pack types on the same week instead of dedicating two whole weeks to it? Split the pack into two parts evenly on the same day.
Yes yes yes yes, great tracks. Thank you for your possible contribution.
I’ve started my track recently, only have tempo map and keys / pro keys done.
Another Silversun song. I’ll see if I can patch it up.
That’s amazing. I only say that because I only just discovered the song this year on a Slacker Radio channel and couldn’t stop listening to it since. Didn’t really know about his relevance. Darwin Deez as an artist is kind of hit-and-miss for me but this song is genuinely fantastic.
Paranoid Android is by far the best custom I could have asked for. So happy Bearz took it on. It’s incredibly fun to play.
JUST KIDDING
v3.5
– little tiny fixes on audio, this is the final version i promise
December 17, 2013 at 11:29 pm in reply to: If you’re doing 12 Days, please write a personal blurb #410803Hi, I’m jaychuck. I like Rock Band. When I’m not on that, I like to write online as a freelancer. I have a website called Common Reactor that I update every once in a while with either original or linked content (mostly reviews) about the current state of independent music.
I’m new to the C3 team, so I haven’t had as long of a time as others to release many custom content. My only previous track is Substitution by Silversun Pickups. My future content will try to represent a sect of Rock Band players that, like me, generally like the indie music scene (spanning genres such as indie rock, alternative, new wave, punk, pop, electronica, hip hop, dance rock, indie folk, etc.), though both past and present influences are open game. If you follow current music culture or organizations from either print or online like Pitchfork or Rolling Stone, you’ll get a sense of the music I listen to. If you really want a better idea of what I listen to and may look to chart in the future, check out my last.fm account.
As for the song for today’s 12 Days, I thought Royals by Lorde would be a great fit. We were essentially told to pick big songs for this project and I don’t think there was a bigger pop phenomenon this year than Royals. It’s a song that really changed the perception of what a Top 40 song of this generation could sound like: minimalist atmosphere, hip hop influences, and realistic worldviews all from a 16-year-old New Zealander. The triple harmony vocals alone make for a fun time in the game, but drummers will be surprised how tricky the patterns can be here too. Hopefully this will be a great fit to your RB library. Enjoy, everybody.
edited op with more earmarks. see ya.
v3
and just like that, I got the next version up already
