Right, and I usually go check 10 AM EST on Tuesday Morning for official DLC announcements. This is a special scenario where it was leaked ahead of that time, so there was no way to prepare for it. All I’m saying is that there should be time to get it before it’s downloadable on RB4 at least. I already had these songs thankfully, but there are probably some users that didn’t get that luxury.

Right and I understand that. But don’t you think there should be a grace period, or a Last Call like HMX does with delisting content? It would be much appreciated.

Is there any chance to have Crazy On You (cover version) full band re-added to the database? I wonder why it disappeared in the first place.

Hi. I wanted to play Bitter Taste, but both the 1x and 2x versions of the song won’t load on my 360. I saw someone else on the thread had the same problem as well. I really like the song by the band, and would love to play it in game.

This is great! Thank you for this! I always wished to play Tom Sawyer on Keys. I understand this process is still in its infancy, but what are the chances of getting to the RBN songs with keys (such as The Serpentine Offering by Dimmu Borgir for example)?

Hey so I followed the tutorial and I tried converting Battery – Metallica and Any Way You Want It – Journey from the 360 con files. The wii can see that the songs are there, but it won’t play and will give me “X Song cannot be restored to Wii System Memory”. I’ve numbered everything in the meta folder correctly, pointed to the mid in the songs.dta folder, and it still won’t work.

 

EDIT: I got them to work, as well as all the Rock Band 1 and 2 songs that did not export (Enter Sandman, Battery, Paranoid, etc). I can also get Lego Rock Band to work, but not any other Rock Band 1 song.

 

This is the error message I get: “to play this song, you need the latest update for rock band 3. please make sure you have downloaded all updates for this title”

Hi. First time user of RB:HP. I did all the normal upgrades and some of the keys and chart upgrades. Most of the keys work just fine, but when I play RB1 Foreplay/Longtime, the game freezes. Any suggestions? Should I re-run the packager and re-do the upgrade?

 

Freezing on track load usually indicates a problem with the midi (missing info or extraneous tracks). It /should/ load fine. I’d say try it again and see, but if you have REAPER I would import the midi in your input folder and make sure it has keys. It’s possible it could be the wrong mid (I don’t think it should be).
