I have a problem where I formatted the drive on my Xbox, as the instructions said, and then when I plug it back into my PC the PC makes a noise like a new device has been added but it doesn’t show up in My Computer. And when I open the C3 Con Tools and do the RBtoUSB option, the drive doesn’t show up in the list of available drives.

Has your 360 been updated at all since March 2015? Because if it’s still using a very old version then it’s formatting the flash drive in a special format which can’t be used with C3 Con Tools.

 

If it’s been updated then I’m not sure what the problem could be. Try formatting it again or see if it’s detected properly on another computer.

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): MIDI events at [116:3:120] after the end event at [116:3:000]

That means the [end] event that you have on your EVENTS track is happening before the last midi note on your BEAT track. You would just need to move the [end] event to happen after the last note on your BEAT track.

Make sure you have a text event on your PART GUITAR track that has the name name “PART GUITAR” (no quotes), is of type “Track name” and is at position 1.1.00

I downloaded several customs the other day (the Toby Fox songs, Sugar, Cigaro, What You Hoped to Find, and Taking Flight) but Megalovania, Oh My…/Death By Glamour, and Hopes And Dreams/Save The World didn’t work. Are those working for anyone else? When I pick those songs the game ends up freezing on the loading screen.

The above are sing‐along notes‐‐they apply the lip‐sync animation from the vocalist to other characters during playback.

Note that if Harmony parts are present for the vocals these notes will cause the guitarist to lip-sync Harmony 2, the bass/keyboard to lip-sync Harmony 3, and the drummer to lipsync Harmony 1. If there is only a bassist/keyboardist present on screen, bass will lip-sync HARM2 and keyboard will lip-sync HARM3.

Announcement: I plan on doing customs for The Rick Dance and Get Schwify from Rick and Morty which should be out between June and July. I’ve already done some initial charting for both.

Renai Circulation is almost ready for release and I am aiming for sometime this week.

Wow, that’s pretty neat. Are you using the Concentration Mode cheat on the emulator? This is the best of both methods.

Yeah it’s concentration mode. After seeing him do that I also did the same thing and then suggested using custom textures so now we use 360 RB3 textures for the notes and the note highway background which makes it look a lot nicer.

How long has RB4 been doing this for?

I think Get Lucky was the first RB4 DLC where people noticed this. A good example is during this part: https://youtu.be/96u8vNEB4Xw?t=147

You can hear a change in the vocal track audio even though it’s just guitar notes that are not being played.

 

Harmonix did this before RB4 as well. Here are some examples that I can think of:
