Not sure how, but appearantly OP found out how, since they’ve uploaded a custom since then
I didn’t think it’d still be down, but alas…
September 27, 2020 at 7:44 pm in reply to: Making customs that fluently work on RB1/2 and 3? #514364I don’t think that works. I’m not even trying to do disco beats
September 25, 2020 at 3:40 pm in reply to: Making customs that fluently work on RB1/2 and 3? #514343My best guess would be just to make disco flipping for pro drums. IIRC, there was an interview with one of the devs on how the yellow, blue, and green toms served as double duty for cymbals as well. Try to add disco flipping in your drum chart. If I still had RB1, I would have made a test song to see if the disco flipping method works.
You mean add it to the whole song?
If you play customs on RB2 (Xbox 360), then you can both be connected to Xbox LIVE and play them with others, as long as they have the exact same CON files as you
I would love to see Rest by Green Day as a custom ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_emot-3.gif” />
Touche LOL
If I’m thinking about what you’re explaining, all that means is whoever’s customs you’re modifying just had the song audio loaded in each instrument chart, later to be removed obv lol

Can you use some kind of xex or something to get into audition mode post-RBN? I’m looking to do video previews too… specifically on RB2
My first one only took me about 4 hours, but I didn’t chart lower difficulties, animations or venue. Just the nesessities for it to work on the game
There’s a way easier way to do this now. Just get the Onyx toolkit
Well have you check this first? RBN wiki has more than the PDF guide.

Those are lanes. I meant rolls for beats with hihat notes and snare notes being flipped, but return to normal when on pro drums
I plan to mainly release my charts for Phase Shift, but if I could figure out Magma I’d do that too
This is very helpful! I really appreciate this a lot! :> To tell you tho, no you cannot label keys on the MIDI editor on Mixcraft. Also from the looks of it, the notes on the editor on Mixcraft appear to be a little higher, such as D7 being the yellow cymbal, not the yellow pad. It doesn’t help that in the tutorial pdf the notes you’d need to know are numbered lol
