I will begin to add visualizer in my posts. But all songs are listed in order of their release. I do notice the first post getting larger but I prefer it than having people sift thru the entire thread to see which songs are released. I will add dates under the songs if I make any corrections to them.

Awesome, sounds good and is appreciated. Definitely keep adding the visualizer images to the first post to allow people to see your full work but it just helps too, I think, for people who continually follow your thread to be able to just click on the new posts and see, at a glance, just the new song you have added.

Hamburger- I fixed the guitar sustains for Angel and the one. I don’t know how I missed it but thank you for the feedback. Enjoy!

I just tested bass and guitar and the long notes are in place now – well done!

On guitar I have noticed there are some notes missing in between at the end on the solo (where Rivers Cuomo just sings oooohhhh). It’s hard to explain via forum but probably you can have an eye on that part if you have time to do.

 

I also tried pro-drums on the song and there’s just one small issue if you ask me:

I think in the beginning till the middle of the song and than again at the end you mixed up the (green) crash and the (blue) ride. It sounds like there should be the ride where you put in the crash and the other way around. Could it be?

I’ll check the drums again but if you play most my songs I use the green cymbal for the ride and use both green and blue for crashes interchangeably. My reason is I have a full drum kit with a hi-hat pedal and when I play with my cymbal locations it makes sense. I know it’s not for everyone but it works for my kit. I tried to do it the other way around but it really gets messed up because the blue cymbal is also the open hi-hat or my kit.

Sad thing is this is how I have it written for all my weezer custom songs. If I ever find a better way to setup my kit I can change it. I’ll experiment at home this weekend and try to figure out a better solution that works for everyone. I was wondering when this was going to be brought up but I never heard anyone having any issues so Ive kept it as green=ride/crash and blue=crash/open hh

as far as the guitar in the ending where rivers is singing above I do not hear the missing notes you speak of. I just tried it again with 3 different headphones/amp (audio technica ath-m50, beyerdynamic dt 770, and beyerdynamic dt 880) and I do not hear it. There are a couple of notes where I did not change the pitch because we only have 5 notes to work with and the stepping from highest note to lowest note is beyond 5 notes. Other than that I do not believe notes are missing.

ok, updated all songs except mykel and carli with EMH. I used CAT and simply used the “reduce” button so I do not know what to expect. Not sure if all reductions make sense but its the best I can do for now.

You can always throw the song (or midi) at MIDI Analyzer and it will tell you, at least show you the total number of notes for each instrument per difficulty.

Thanks a bunch for working on these! More Weezer is always welcome. Every time I see a new b-side uploaded I’m ecstatic. Most of them are great and deserve the RB treatment, yet I would have never expected to see them receive it in my life.

 

I have to be greedy and ask a question. Do you have an idea for when you’ll be uploading the rest of Pinkerton? I’ve been dying to play the entire album for a loooooong time. Now that I know it’s coming eventually, the wait is unbearable, hah.

Bony I will release all Pinkerton songs minus butterfly. I would have done it this week but I received some other requests. I promise to have all Pinkerton for you esrly next week. No time this weekend and I want to make sure everything is correct before I release them. Finally got my laptop back up and upgraded reaper so I can now use CAT to reduce EMH. Also have lots of B-sides, rivers, and rentals stuff too so hopefully this will continue.

I get kind of into to it and then I won’t touch it for months so get it while you can. I guess the new album got me excited.

I’m so excited that there is a prolific charter who is super devoted to a specific band…and one that I am likewise into! I think funkydunkleman’s AC/DC project is great and likewise farrotone’s gradual creation of an informal Queensrÿche: Rock Band, but neither band is really my bag (though I have discovered some pretty cool tracks from both).

 

Now Weezer, on the other hand…never would have dreamed I’d see most of Pinkerton, let alone B-sides and rarities like Susanne and I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams!

 

Any other bands you are likely to sample from?

Definitely giving me a run for my money. Always nice to see other people dedicated to a band. I only know the Weezer songs that were already in the game, but I’ll have to give some of yours a shot. Any recommendations as far as fun charts go?
