Doesn’t that mean the band also had a song on the game disc?
So, I have to agree with your Rise Against prediction, but are they on hiatus right now?And I’m incorrect, Rise Against were on hiatus in January til August. Just released a ‘Best of’ album and opened for Metallica. I double-checked.

Different band. There appears to be a typo in the OP that have made it look like 3 different hints is really one giant hint.

Seems like a error to me, unless you are being extremely clever here and it’s a sneaky additional hint that is going way over my head

Also, after looking up several canadian artist that were on disc like The Guess Who, Sum 41, Rush, Bryan Adams, etc; none of them had a 3rd album out by the mid 90’s except Alanis.

UPDATE: Ok, I may have got this Canadian band hint. “I Mother Earth”. The song “Levitate” was an on disc song for Rock Band Metal Track Pack. The song were getting is “One More Astronaut”.
For the American band hint my guess is Breaking Benjamin. Wiki says they are on hiatus.
