I have a small question related to tempo mapping a song section where the band slows down gradually but fairly quickly, for instance at the very end of a song.
I am in such situation, where basically the tempo slows down in the very last measure. It’s not a sudden drop, but it rather feels like the tempo should be marked (with progressively decreasing bpm values) at least once per beat.
From pksage’s master tutorial I have learned how to mark tempo once per measure using the ‘q’ key, but in this case I need more markers per measure. Still, if I try to just add more markers with the mouse, it’s messing everything up…
How do you properly use tempo markers in songs that end with a slowdown?
try to change the time signature from 4/4 to X/4 is X the number to change, not too much
Or you can try using splits, there are some real good videos on youtube about this. Even the non RBN videos about tempo mapping will help.
