Has anyone been experiencing suspicious downloads? Whenever I try to download stuff from the GHtoRB3 project (Metallica’s Master of Puppets, for example) off the C3 database, McAfee is blocking the DL for detected malware, spyware, etc. Files not from that project DL without a problem.
I can guarantee you that nothing hosted on our server has anything malicious in it.
It may be one of two things:
1) RAR files with passwords are generally suspicious
2) Files with low download numbers are now being marked as suspicious and removed by various antivirus. Mine does the same, but it tells you the “Threat” is “Reputation” and allows you to restore it.
The problem is McAfee.
Or any AV program that does reputation-based blocks things for ‘unknowns’ as opposed to ‘known bad sources’.
You are about to leave Rhythm Gaming World and access the external songs DB. While no song or file sold for commercially available videogames is hosted there and only fan generated content is allowed, Rhythm Gaming World has no direct control over the database and no files are hosted here. Alright, we had to made you aware of this, now you can visit the database!
