Survivor has a metric crap-ton of power-pop/rock songs that would make excellent additions to the RB3 song library. It always has pained me a little that the one track of theirs that HMX picked was probably the most boring song that Peterik & Sullivan ever wrote. Not bad – just boring.

Anyway, I’ll see your “Caught In The Game” (and yes, it’s a very good track), and add these:

    Feels Like Love

    Silver Girl

    Chevy Nights

    Summer Nights

    Poor Man’s Son

    Heart’s A Lonely Hunter

    Light Of A Thousand Smiles

    Somewhere In America

    Can’t Getcha Offa My Mind

    Let It Be Now

As Soon As Love Finds Me

Rebel Girl (much better than Bikini Kill’s totally different song)

    I Can’t Hold Back

    High On You

    Runway Lights

    Love Is On My Side

All of them filled with amazing hooks, fun but (relatively) simple drums and a buttload of Frankie Sullivan lead guitar work. The vocals would be a heck of a lot of fun, too. I could die happy if even one of these songs ever made it into the game.

    Yes, I’m a fan!

Wish I had chimed in on this sooner. I’m a HUGE Survivor fan and in memory of Jimi Jamison, one of Survivor’s lead singers who had just died a few weeks ago, I would love to see some of his songs charted with full instruments.

    Across The Miles

    Didn’t Know It Was Love

Burning Heart (there’s a phase shift release of this but haven’t seen a RB3CON yet)

    First Night

    Popular Girl

    How Much Love

    I’m The One

    I See You In Everyone

    Desperate Dreams

    Rhythm Of The City

    Rhythm Of Your Heart

    Reach

    One More Chance

Never Too Late (last solo album)

Worth Fighting For (collaboration with Bobby Kimball on the Kimball/Jamison album)

I could probably go on forever with Survivor music but those are some of my favorite Jimi Jamison tracks. But to throw a few of Dave Bickler’s songs in there too (the other singer for Survivor who sung Eye Of The Tiger)

    Ever Since The World Began

    Jackie Don’t Go

    The One That Really Matters

    Children Of The Night
