Yes they do. I have a dual sk mod and they work fine with customs.

originally songs had specific scripts for the stage kit included in the venue track. since RB3’s patch to “enable” the stage kit again, there is no script for it and it just uses the lighting calls from the venue track, so all old and new songs will work with the stage kit without any interaction from the charters. so go nuts. have fun.

That makes me wonder if there is a noticeable quality difference between the stage kits show with RB2’s specific scripts and RB3’s enabled lighting calls.
