I’ve been ultra-busy the past few months with a new job and other personal stuff, but heard it today on the radio, and remembered this thread …
What’s unbelievable is that for as iconic as the Doobs are (aside from what Harmonix has released, of course) their body of work shows a seriously anemic representation in RB3.
Funny you should mention that sam…..We were just viewing a “Behind The Music” segment with the Doobie Brothers last night when the very same thought arose!
elmaka mentioned The Great Beyond by R.E.M. I love that song and would gladly contribute vocals.
To echo Freud and address AJ, yeah, where”s the Winwood!? Higher Love, Back in the High Life, and my favorite, Roll With It… so I hope that’s on your docket, AJ

To echo Freud (again), yeah, I’m surprised the Doobie Brothers have never gotten any love in the database. I definitely prefer Tom Johnston to Michael McDonald, though, so I’ll say I’m shocked Rockin’ Down the Highway isn’t in the database (or a Harmonix release, for that matter!).

I know this is a long shot but I would like to see Jump Up, Superstar! by Kate Higgins from the Super Mario Odyssey soundtrack. That song is so marvellous and fills me with such joy everytime I listen to it. For it to be a custom fully charted will be a godsend.

A prime example of how this thread has been misused. I absolutely can believe a song from a video game that came out last year is not in the database. Hell, even you can believe this song isn’t in Rock Band, because you acknowledge it’s a long shot.
This thread’s pretty much run its course, IMO. Virtually all of the (actual) no-brainers have been mentioned. Hell, at this point, I’d be impressed to see songs listed I actually can’t believe aren’t customs.
