There are a lot of bands in the rock band music store but what was disappointing was that some of their good songs didn’t make it. Here are my suggestions. What do you guys think?

A bit moreso than 311’s version. Or any other Cure songs, for that matter. Maybe they would have squeezed one out if they hadn’t stopped the licensing process.

Dope Nose was a GH2RB convert from GH: Van Halen, and Memories was a full band EMHX custom by somebody, don’t remember who or where though
I always wished we’d gotten Original Prankster or Hit That (especially for the keys) by The Offspring. Another sort of silly party song.

I got too lazy to keep going through my songs, but you get the point. And I know some of these came out as customs, I have a few of them, wish I could find more.
On a side note, how about all the songs on the credits? The ones that they probably could have/should have put out? Disco City? I know we got Trash Candy and Everything I Hate About Myself, could have used more That Handsome Devil.

Glad to see there is interest in “Beds Are Burning”. I’m certain Harmonix initially wanted to get that song but they couldnt. Same could be said for “Deads Man Party” from Oingo Boingo and “Africa” from Toto.Yeah, HMX said that they originally wanted Africa and Hold The Line. They had both of them, but there was some problem with the masters and they were only able to get Rosanna working. It was going to be a three pack but it got changed at the last minute.

I would love some Sammy Haggar era Van Halen in RB. Guitar Hero Van Halen was cool, but it was unfortunate that it didn’t have any of the Haggar stuff, which was great music as well.
Don’t Do Me Like That was a pretty huge omission from the Tom Petty tracks that were released in RB. I would also love Mr. jones and more Rolling Stones.
