Fun fact: If we subtract the HMX-authored songs, and assume each chart took 12 hours worth of work to do, it took about 564 hours worth of work to author all of these.

Thanks to all of you who responded to my poll. Looks like Aeroplane and Adore have it. I plan on “album hopping” if you will to give some diversity instead of just hammering a single album.

Introducing…

 

The Aeroplane Flies High is a boxset released in 1996 that contains 5 CDs featuring 28 additional songs

recorded during the Mellon Collie period that were not featured on the album. Each CD is an expansion of

one of the 5 singles that were released from the Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness album.

 

 

That’s right, I’ll be “traversing” this boxset in order each week on Tuesday, starting today!

 

 

First off is the Bullet with Butterfly Wings single. Again, I offer up my version of the song.

 

 

 

Original B-side to the popular “Bullet with Butterfly Wings” and then became the second track on the extended single.

 

This track is a duet by guitarist James Iha and Veruca Salt vocalist Nina Gordon (and hey, it still has Jimmy Chamberlin on drums).
