Should we maybe put together a good “count-in” pack?

I try to, whenever possible, pull samples from the song if I can get them and they work as a count-in, but otherwise I’ve got a couple of sounds that work… however, for a song I’m working on, I’m not happy with anything, and I really have no idea where to start looking.
Might it be worth putting together a compilation of quick instrument hits in a variety of styles to allow us to easily craft count-ins (potentially also helpful to people looking to learn to chart)? Or maybe you guys can just point me to a good resource. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
Do you have multitracks for the RB catalogue? Because if you do, there’s a nice selection of count ins. If you don’t, let me know.
I know that Reaper comes with two or three different count ins, but those can get boring fast. I personally downloaded a big set of drum samples. It was too long ago to remember where or what it was called, but searching for “drum samples” on Google may give you a lot more to work with or a lot more to add to this count in pack you’re planning.
Here’s what Freesound has for “crash cymbal”. Should be a solid repository. “Rim shot”, “clap”, “tambourine”, all should be good tags to search there as well.
Stick clicks. Always.
Cheers, gents. Some good things to look for. I may look into putting something together for distro as a “starter kit” when we start rolling tutorials and the like out.
