September 13, 2013 at 3:16 pm #406143Being that I am on a big Saints Row 4 kick right now it’s really awesome to get I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing
September 13, 2013 at 3:20 pm #406144I’m beginning to sense that someone has a dream that involves a phantom piece of software called Queensrÿche: Rock Band…
Don’t know the QR songs, but looking forward to giving ’em a listen!
Pretty cool to have a certified copy of Cryin’ and the clean version of Dream On will please my wife, the vocalist. Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing is welcome cheese. I will have to listen to Naked Eyes.
Thanks as always, for making Friday morning so exciting, and for your time and effort!
September 13, 2013 at 4:41 pm #406146Is anyone else having issues with Queensryche – No Sanctuary (non rhythm version)? Cover image won’t show (just shows the default RockBand 3 logo) nor will the preview audio play. Song loads up fine though. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled it from a fresh download…and have also rebuilt my song cache.
Aside from that this is a great week of songs. Two more guitar hero conversions and Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing alongside even more Queensryche. Much appreciated.
September 13, 2013 at 5:55 pm #406148Speaking of which, the album art for the new songs don’t show up in the database either. Some sort of bizarre glitch that is somehow only affecting album art and preview times going on or?
September 13, 2013 at 7:04 pm #406155Loaded up The Warning album and each song seems to be working just fine. Thanks for more Queensryche!
September 13, 2013 at 9:18 pm #406162How are the rhythm versions of the Queensryche songs handled? Does the rhythm replace bass, or are they considered 5-lane keys?

Song plays fine, just no preview audio or cover art at song selection.
Aside from that, pretty nifty week. Very nice having an ass-kicking Queensrÿche album. Not that Promised Land wasn’t good, but I’ve been craving some new 80’s metal lately.
Great work on the Aerosmith stuff as well. One quick question, how are karaoke versions made? I’m making an attempt to start making my own songs and being able to have two audio files (one vocals only and other other with everything else) would be splendid.
Thank you all again for making these songs!
September 14, 2013 at 4:14 am #406186One quick question, how are karaoke versions made?I’ve been successful lately at getting good to decent karaoke stems using Audacity and Audition…but it’s not for the faint of heart
I also wanted to say that the Aerosmith songs would not have been possible without the amazing help of Nightmare Lyre and RyanHYK, so major props to them.
September 14, 2013 at 8:49 am #406192Before the Storm is fantastic on Pro Drums. First time hearing and playing this album and it was a blast. Liked it a bit better than Promised Land.

Well, this is a much easier album to get into, much less experimental, much more traditionally metal. Have fun!
September 14, 2013 at 5:50 pm #406200Could someone further explain what the post meant by “wii-compatable versions?” So far I’ve been converting what I want myself for use on wii, and I’m assuming this will save some hassle, but I’m confused as to HOW it will make it any easier to add customs (since you’re required to have your wii’s unique ID to package them). Does anyone know exactly what will be distributed in these new versions?

We were aware of the issues with the two Queensryche songs. I think farottone might have fixed it? Not sure.

Does anyone know exactly what will be distributed in these new versions?I have week’s worth of content converted in my guide below. They all play along well with the expected setup as it is. Also, remember that using DLC off the Wii internal memory or a user-created virtual NAND will let you play using just the .app files which need no specific key files.
