That’s very kind of you, thanks – I’m glad you’re enjoying the songs ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
June 26, 2015 at 4:03 pm #449028I love pretty much all Muse so will always consider their stuff, old and new. I see Eternally Missed on your list – one of my favourites! Might give that a go sometime ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Oooh, that song would be a pleasant surprise indeed!
Thank you for Muse songs and for Oxygene IV.For Muse, it would be great to have Sunburn
For Jean Michel Jarre, I think Rendez-vous IV is also a well know song
I agree about Sunburn, it’s in my request post/list too.
Haha, i was so charting the song in my head at work today. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> Can’t wait!I’m amazed that some can chart a song in their heads, what do i have to learn to be able to get that good at it? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
Play alot of Rock Band songs that you know extremely well and listen to alot of music. Lol

They were amazing, sadly they were headlining for My Chemical Romance so they couldn’t play a full setlist, I left after Muse finished their setlist. jajaja

Muse – Sunburn
So, we’ve had some songs from the newest Muse album, now it’s time for one from their debut album Showbiz. Sunburn is a dark, piano-driven song that was an indicator of things to come from Muse (more so than some other tracks on Showbiz).
This track is great fun on Pro Keys, although due to the limitations of the Keytar (and the range shift on the game itself), the chart is not entirely faithful. The opening riff is exactly as you would play it on a piano, but I had to make allowances for the alternate riff and the outro. It’s as good a representation as possible, though.
There’s also a great drum part on this track, a tremolo-picked guitar solo, some funky bass work in the choruses and a deceptively tricky vocal line to try as well. I hope you enjoy playing it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
UPDATED – 28th June
Muse – Reapers
Corrected the trill markers in Guitar.
June 28, 2015 at 9:07 pm #449164I saw the showbiz album art and I knew it was gonna be a good song, then I glanced at the song title and I jumped around my room for a bit. Thank you, I especially enjoy Muse songs with tricky or more difficult vocal parts!
I’m gonna update Reapers, and download Sunburn and play that all day (and cross it off the master list too!) Is it okay if I link to this post as it being a completed custom? Btw if you ever need anyone to playtest vocals, I know just about every “tricky” vocal line in every muse song from the Newton Abbot Demo through to The Resistance.

Muse – Unnatural Selection
(collaboration with Ultimate_MANG0)
One of my favourite tracks from 2009’s The Resistance, Unnatural Selection is a great track with a heavy, politically-charged main section, as well as a quieter intro and middle section.
Huge thanks to Ultimate_MANG0, who has authored Guitar, Drums and added camera cues, for suggesting this collaboration ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I think we each put about a day or so’s work into this and it’s turned out great – enjoy!
Giant Drag – Kevin is Gay
This song might be familiar to people who were indie fans about 10 years ago – I first heard them supporting Nine Black Alps in London back in 2005 (why not download my Nine Black Alps customs below and recreate the gig for yourself? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />)
The USP for Giant Drag was that they comprised two members: a singer/guitarist (Annie Hardy) and a drummer/keyboardist (Micah Calabrese); Micah played the drums while triggering the basslines on a keyboard. I’ve changed it around a bit to fit the Rock Band setting a bit better, just by moving the synth bass onto the Bass part. I was tempted to try and replicate the keyboard part as Micah plays it to try a Pro Drums/Pro Keys Double FC, but decided against it… although now I’ve said that, I think it sounds awesome, so maybe I’ll update this later.
For those of you wondering, the song’s title reputedly comes from their early days, where a friend of theirs called Kevin kept hacking their website. They posted on their message board saying ‘Kevin, stop putting this stuff on our site. Come to our show tomorrow where we’ll be debuting our new song Kevin is Gay’. And the name stuck.
Anyway, this is a great song which is awesome in its weirdness, from the Street Fighter impersonations at the start, through the almost surreal lyrics to the ‘cat solo’ at the end, as Annie Hardy dubbed it – basically, she meows the main riff. Have fun with this one ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
