July 14, 2014 at 12:59 am #424641I thought pro drums didn’t work on it?
And what would capturing audio do for it? (Serious question, I honestly have no idea)
Helps me chart harmonies for it?
July 29, 2014 at 9:48 pm #425868Could you guys do Welcome to the Black Parade, I know you’ve done the harmonies but I would really like a keys upgrade.
[If I get a keys submission, it’ll be out pretty quickly.]
September 26, 2014 at 2:17 am #429905So I was bored and went through and tagged requests with their ‘status’. Adding release dates if tracks were released, or noting TBD if they’re still in the queue.
October 4, 2014 at 6:29 am #430418i know its not an official song but keys and harmonies on the jason paige pokemon theme tune would be lovely as that is so close to being finished
October 4, 2014 at 9:44 am #430424Any chance of the RHCP Blood Sugar album harmonies happening soon?[TBD, though this may still be a while as I’m on a run of albums and want to get back to singles]
So bummed to hear this. Our band has been holding off playing songs from this album for a while hoping we’d be playing it in its entirety with full harmonies soon. I guess we’ll just go back to singing the harmonies in the background as we play the songs without actually having the parts.
Thansk for all the amazing work though! You have made Rock Band a billion times more fun for us with what you’re doing.
[Well, at least you only had to wait a few months? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />]
October 13, 2014 at 3:29 pm #431020A few things:
1. I think I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating: Espher, you have revolutionized Rock Band in our house with the addition of harmonies to older songs. Amazing stuff. And just about every time my wife and I go, “I’m surprised that song doesn’t have harmonies (e.g. as we did with Ironic a couple of weeks ago), RBHP remedies the situation.
2. What is your position on releasing harmonies for the RB1/2 tracks that did not export to RB3? I am guessing those are low priority since most people will not have access to them, but a couple of those (read: Any Way You Want It) literally beg for an upgrade. [No plans, but I may end up doing some.]
3. Since this is technically a request thread, I’ll nominate the Duran Duran DLC from 2008 to supplement the recent C3 release. [TBD!]
Thanks again for all that you do.
October 20, 2014 at 8:51 am #431378Hi, some requests I’m adding for future releases. They are basically the last ones I really care about atm.
Scars on Broadway – They Say [TBD, but I think I captured audio.]
AFI – Medicate [TBD]
Nirvana – Come as you are and Smells like Teen Spirit [CAYA 04/17/15. We charted Smells Like Teen Spirit, but decided it had no real harmony chart value.]
Yellowcard – Ocean Avenue [TBD]
The Police – Walking on the Moon [TBD]
Juanes – La Camisa Negra [03/13/15]
Red Hot Chili Peppers – Blood Sugar Sex Magic album (especially Under The Bridge) [02/20/15]
Gun’s N’ Roses – Chinese Democracy album [03/13/15]
Keys:
The Who – Baba O’ Riley
The Who – Won’t Get Fooled Again [mazegeek got this.]
Linking Park – One Step Closer
Freezepop – Every other song not upgraded yet
Any Blink-182, All-American Rejects and Rise Against song if relevant (yes I’m vague)
Pro G/B
Any Blink-182, All-American Rejects and Rise Against song
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
[General “if I get a submission we’ll likely release them” reminder for Keys and Pro Guitar/Pro Bass.]
October 29, 2014 at 12:26 am #431802I thought One Step Closer didn’t have any keys. Or even if it did, it’s a dozen of the same notes tops.
October 30, 2014 at 12:52 pm #431853Oh really? I just thought “it’s Linkin Park so the song has to have keys”… Maybe you’re right. ^^”
December 24, 2014 at 4:04 am #435096Oh really? I just thought “it’s Linkin Park so the song has to have keys”… Maybe you’re right. ^^”Just checked. It DOES have keys, but it’s not a very complicated chart.
December 24, 2014 at 10:45 am #435123Happy to hear it. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Maybe it’ll appear sometimes then, haha.
December 27, 2014 at 6:58 pm #435315Two questions, not sure of how iffy they might be, so adding spoilers. Also not sure if they’ve been asked, apologies if they have.
Have you considered/ever done harm upgrades for the non-export songs? Specifically Any Way You Want It.
and
I’m stumped on modding the code for the long-version songs from RB1, is there any chance you’re willing to share an already-modded songs.dat file for them? I’ve always had issues going through code, my brain starts swimming and I lose track of where I am/what I’m doing. Excited to try the keys/harms for them, but would prefer to inject the upgrades.
January 25, 2015 at 7:46 pm #437034You know, I completely forgot this thread existed. Oops.

2. Maybe after the rest, but, yes, the focus is on ‘legitimately available’ songs first before non-exports.
3. I can at least guarantee they’re coming this year!

First one is answered above.
I’m not sure what you’re looking for here, to be honest — the songs.dta files that are bundled should work fine, no?
January 26, 2015 at 10:15 pm #437103I’ll throw some requests out there. Looking back at the DLC08 tab on the spreadsheet you are making quite a bit of progress on the DLC for that whole year. These are the songs I have that still need from harmonies from that year:
Inside the Fire – Disturbed
Indestructible – Disturbed
Afterlife – Avenged Sevenfold
Closer to the Heart – Rush
This Is It – Stain’d
Rescue Me – Buckcherry [03/13/15]
Life is Beautiful – Sixx AM [03/13/15]
Limelight – Rush
Mr. Brightside – The Killers
Funk #49 – James Gang
[The rest is still TBD. Don’t remember exactly where they sit on the tentative schedule.]
January 28, 2015 at 8:25 am #437200I’m talking about the .dta files that have been modified to eliminate the ‘short version’ code, and are safe to use for baking upgrades into. Having trouble wrapping my brain around what to do, especially since when I open the file it’s formatted differently, have to spent a lot of time spacing things out so that I can read it, and then worrying I’m changing the wrong lines.
Unless the .dta files you include in the RBHP upgrades already has everything changed to only have long version data, and I can just swap it with the one in the vanilla file. Then I’d feel a little silly.
