I removed it last night when I saw what Bravo said.
So want to post about this, I got my custom of “MEGALOVANIA” by Toby “Radiation” Fox to work on RB2, after making quite a few adjustments. I even got the venue to mostly work, save for two transitions to photo-negative where before there was horror_movie_special. I’ll see about fixing that before uploading, but yeah, it’s exciting to see this actually working!
I’m curious: Does RB2’s dynamically created challenges based on albums work on customs as well?
Never thought about this. I may investigate on this and convert a whole album just for this purpose

What causes them to generate? Two songs by the same artist?

1) Storm360, care to share how to get album art to load? I’ve tried everything I can think of, but to no avail.
2) It’s mentioned in the comments in that video linked in the OP that there’s a workaround for the one custom limit. Any pointers as to how to do that?
All of “OK Computer” is on my list… sadly I don’t have a save file with challenges unlocked though to see if it will pop up a challenge once i’m done.

I think three is the minimum for a given challenge to appear.

Check the OP, I updated with a link on how to convert which includes making them compatible for multiple at once as well as album art, courtesy of Meta123. Just start at the magma building part for the whole compatibility part.
(The Album art is just the

As Jarhead has said, it’s just songidhere_keep.png_xbox placed in the gen folder, the files generated by C3 Con Tools converter or files taken from Rock Band 3 cons will work fine.
Meta123 has a tutorial on how to get multiple customs working, but basically, like Rock Band 3 needs for online play/leaderboards, Rock Band 2 needs numeric song IDs for songs to show up. You need to name all your files after the song ID I believe too

Thanks, followed the tutorial, and got everything to work right! I’ll upload it shortly and PM the OP.
EDIT: For curiosity’s sake, decided to try booting it up in RB3, digital on-demand version. It loaded in the song preview screen, but to no surprise, selecting it resulted in the game crashing. So in other words, as far as I can tell there’s not gonna be an exploit to be able to play customs on RB3 online ever again

For RB3 online customs the Wii version is your best bet, you can play customs under TU5, but it requires charting to an incorrect tempo map
