I decided to make a list of songs featured in RB4 that aren’t in the database. This is because I’ve noticed some people have been requesting songs that are already featured in RB4, probably because they’re not really up to date with RB4 DLC. This list can help users see which songs are already in RB4 before they make a request for a specific song from here or put it in a list of requests. Also helpful for people to know which songs to not put in their WIP list (probably could use a live version if available)

It is, but the author of the custom hasn’t been here so it isn’t removed yet.

I believe it’s the author’s responsibility to remove the custom for an official song. The user hasn’t been here for a month. The customs for Right Here, Right Now, Steal My Sunshine, and Tourniquet are also still in the database. Slow Ride is also here but it’s a full version of the song instead of the short version in RB4. No More Mr. Nice Guy still has the GH re-recording custom in the database, but the custom for its original version has been removed already.

 

But I wonder why the custom for Freewill was removed? I thought the vault edition was an unused master recording like with “Working Man” but it’s actually a live version. Don’t know why Harmonix could’ve just called it “Freewill (Live)” instead of “(Vault Edition)”. Oh well. Hope it gets reuploaded.

Harmonix has been pretty iffy in selecting DLC (like with “Falling” and “Popular Monster”), but there are times where they strike gold.

Removing customs because they are DLC is usually done by moderators. And the reason they haven’t been “put in” is because it takes a long time to update all the songs. Especially since no one has done it in a long time. Just because there’s an entry in the database does not mean the song is available from here. So for harmonix to get upset by it being in the database is kind of an unnecessary to state since it isn’t actually available.

To be fair, depends on the song. Some official DLC is still available as opposed to the ones that refer to the XBOX Marketplace. But I don’t think he was referencing those listings.

No I meant that we don’t host the file like we do customs. If you go to something that’s still available, it’ll point you to where you should get it. Mostly the Xbox store.
