High-level: RB3 export is December, will cost $14.99, your account must have played RB3; no date on RB1/RB2/Lego, but still coming soon; RBN is not ruled out and will be looked at in 2016.
It’s a little vague for people like us that are following the exports super closely, but it’s still a good resource! SUPER HYPE FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF RBN, YOU GUYS.
:brosius: I’ll be pissed if they don’t have the DLC/songs I already own thing fixed by the time I pick up my PS4.
tbh I’d rather they fix RB3 RBN than bring old RBN songs to RB4
They should really just bring it all back if they can, warts and all. I don’t own RB4 yet, but I’d hate not being able to play the Cynic or DEP songs on drums. RBN 1.0 had some essential stuff too.
if they can’t bring them all back, at least bring back the songs they got ported over to the PS3. those were the only ones i owned so i would be happy with that.
RB3 export into RB4 is live for PS4 and XB1 in the US, coming next week for EU. Instructions on how to buy/download it:
- Start Rock Band 4.
- Navigate to “Get More Songs”.
- Scroll down to the new tab, “Exports”.
- Select “Rock Band 3”.
- Select “RB3 Disc Export Pack”.
From day one RB4 has never met my expectations, so no reason to waste my money on it yet.
Online mp should be the first priority, not RBN!
I agree with MFX on this. I got so little out of online play that I much prefer my 40 or so RBN songs come back before they spend any amount on time on an online component. That also includes all exports, delisted and otherwise missing songs.
