Here a few notes about some of this week’s tracks:
I know people love to hate Limp Bizkit, but Faith is super fun and energetic. I saw Limp Bizkit supporting Faith No More back when Limp Bizkit was unknown. When they played Faith the entirety of the arena stood and loved every second of it.
I Just Wanna Live is our second Good Charlotte custom. If you have never heard this one, you should give it a spin. It is a fun track to listen to and it is fun to play. It’s a poppy good time, I assure you.
Hooch is my favorite of the week. If you don’t know the Melvin’s music, this is a great place to start. It is grungy and fun. The lyrics are almost nonsense, but they are awesome. “Milk Maid Dud Bean Master a Load a Head” . Can you dig it? Dale Crover, Melvins drummer even spent a short stint as the fill in Nirvana drummer. King Buzzo, the guitarist and vocalist, also is in the band Fantomas with Mike Patton.
This week’s Hints Hall of Fame inductees are:
beard216 (5)
Supercharlottesmith (1)
Whig Party (1)
Points go to both on the Melvins track as Beard had choices and Supercharlottesmith had it correct.
Great job this week, all six. A perfect set, nice work!!!

August 22, 2015 at 4:27 pm #453306Nothing up my alley this week, but thanks anyway for all the time and effort. I still get amazed every Saturday morning that you guys managed to complete ANOTHER six songs since the week before. Truly impressive.
August 24, 2015 at 2:51 am #453415Just wanted to say thanks, I really enjoy your customs and the hours of enjoyment it provides me. Great job! Thank you thank you thank you!
August 24, 2015 at 3:32 am #453421I played this weeks releases and minus the Limp Bizkit song would recommend people try them out. I didn’t know any of the songs but trusted the guys tastes and they came through again with a bunch of catchy fun songs (minus the Limp Bizkit song as I said before!)
August 24, 2015 at 3:29 pm #453458The Offspring – Want you BadOmg omg dat drums! Thank you!
August 24, 2015 at 8:07 pm #453500Hey there Rockers,
Happy Monday! We hope it isn’t going too bad. Maybe some trivia teasers will help make it a little more fun. This week has some songs that I have been wanting for quite some time. Let’s see who makes the grade this week.
Hint for song #1 – This band makes its return to Funhouse Customs with their biggest hit. The song reached #1 on the modern rock charts. This song is definitely nothing to sneeze at.
Hint for song #2 – The next artist also is making his second appearance in our customs. This psychedelic pioneer brings us a pounding hard rock classic. His musical contributions have been chronicled in a feature length documentary and more recently was featured on HBO’s Sonic Highway.
Hint for song #3 – The next track is from a supergroup returning to our customs. In addition to a previous custom from this band, we have brought you a custom by the bands of the 2 different bass players they have had, 2 songs by the band the drummer is from and by 2 other bands from the vocalist. This song feature some strange lyrics, as did the first two.
Hint for song #4 – Our next track comes from this band’s third full-length album and first original release on a major label. It was the album’s third single. Apparently all this band’s original songs are written by their manager.
Hint for song #5 – The next song this week comes from a band that really matters. This song was actually only a b-side for a long time. In fact, it may have been the band’s most popular song to not appear on an album. It was released on a collection of rare tracks and b-sides years a few years later.
Hint for song #6 – This week’s final offering is a super heavy track from a German thrash metal band. It is the opening track from their 10th studio album, a concept album about war.
Check back Saturday and get songs the hints are for.
P.S.
Looking at the downloads numbers… There are a lot of Limp Bizkit – Faith fans. So don’t feel bad, you were one of many that downloaded it.
