November 28, 2016 at 8:54 pm #478164Hey there Rockers,
Welcome back to the Funhouse! We hope you had a great weekend. We also hope you are ready for this week’s installment of clues to our next release. Put on your thinking caps because here they come.Hint for Song #1
Our first incendiary track this week comes from a country chick with a bit of crazy in her. She returns to Rock Band with the title track from her debut album. This rockin’ country song reached the Top 20 on Billboard’s Country chart. I fear for any dude that does her wrong.Hint for Song #2
Next up, we have a song from female singer/songwriter that has been nominated for Grammy and Tony Awards. In fact she was nominated for a Grammy for this song and the album it came from. This positive anthem was the first single from her fourth album. She has also been seen as a mermaid???Hint for Song #3
Our third track of the week is my new favorite holiday song. I have been trying to get this band into RB for a while now. This was the perfect chance. Most probably have never heard of this band, unless you are into Country/Punk. This band has a ton of cool tracks. Here is a track from their Christmas album. Since it is a super tough one to get, I’ll tell you the band name has 5 words in it and the song has 7 words in it. Good Luck!!!Hint for Song #4
Our fourth track this week is a holiday song that was the first ever solo recorded by the frontman of, not one but two, heavy bands. It was done in a single afternoon. He wrote the song after listening to people bitch about the holidays. The proceeds from the song went to a cancer charity. While both of these holiday songs are not very nice, remember it’s the thought that counts!!!Hint for Song #5
In the # 5 spot, we have an awesome song by a duo that is returning to the Funhouse. They are one of my favorite bands. They come from my home state. This song was used in Napoleon Dynamite and an episode of House MD.Hint for Song #6
For our final track this week, This American pop and R&B artist found international success in the late 90s with a Barbi Benton cover, and across their career, have only been popular outside of their home country. This song is their most successful album single in the 2000s, and keeping with the format, also finding extensive usage in East Asian TV.Last week we had 5 “Big Brains”! Great job everyone and thank you for playing.

That would be an awesome choice…except that’s from her 7th album. And I wouldn’t call it a “positive anthem”.
