I’m sorry guys but part of the female breast offends me so I’m gonna have to report you for nudity.
Kidding obviously but man that song is weird. Like a catchy sort of weird.
Awesome week guys. Really appreciate the INXS!
April 9, 2016 at 6:40 pm #466758Amazing job guys!
April 9, 2016 at 6:52 pm #466759Fantastic week! As far as INXS goes, I would be thrilled to see more. They would be a great band to see one of your amazing packs from. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
April 9, 2016 at 6:56 pm #466760I grew up with those 80s tunes and they rock. Thanks a lot guys.
April 9, 2016 at 7:06 pm #466761Welcome pop to Nunchuck & Pop’s Custom Pophouse, it’s me, your boy, Pop.
All kidding aside, I think that we’re getting into a way more pop-oriented direction with our picks, but I guess the compromise is that it’s mostly 80s pop.
I originally planned on doing vocals for Say It Right, but things didn’t turn out perfectly, and I just left vocals as an afterthought. I wouldn’t mind doing the harmonies later, including the weird Timbaland vocal stuff in the background. The fact this has no vocals is on me, hopefully it won’t be too long before an upgrade, whether it’s by me or someone else stepping in.
Big thanks to Colonel and Domino for their contributions this week, I know I’m not too vocal about it, but I appreciate any contribution that our fellow authors make, and any friend to our songs is a friend of mine.
April 9, 2016 at 10:21 pm #466764Great stuff. Thank you guys!
April 10, 2016 at 2:08 am #466770Fan-freaking-tastic. Thank you. I would be out of my mind with excitement for more INXS. Don’t Change and The One Thing would be my wishes.
April 10, 2016 at 12:47 pm #466779Cheers for the Poptastic week fellas.
I’ll def have to dust off the leg warmers for Mickey, and i guess get a belt ready for LLT!!!
Woa that came off weird! well, i’m an aussie so i guess its ok for me to take the piss outta one of our icons!
(thats my story & i’m sticking to it!!!!)
April 10, 2016 at 4:36 pm #466789As much as i’m trying to avoid the idea of adding “Mickey” to my song list, i feel it’s necessary lol
April 10, 2016 at 4:42 pm #466790IMO, its an easy call to have “Mickey” take up one of your 2956 available song slots!
April 10, 2016 at 6:54 pm #466795Welcome fight fans!
This is the very first installment of Tale of the Tape!
We are here live at the RockFight Arena!
Today in this in-depth special we will have our official weigh-ins/contract signings.
We will take a look at all the match-ups.
We will give you hints to the tracks the bands in the Main event are bringing with a victory.
In BandFacts, we will look at some trivia for the combatants this month.
First, let’s take a look at the fights!
In our main event, we have a Three-Pack Throwdown between Kiss and Suicidal Tendencies. The always-confident guys in Kiss have made no bones about not fearing these hoodlums from California. Never underestimate this street-wise pack of bad-asses; Suicidal doesn’t play around, they are in it to win it. Both bands are bringing a strong 3-pack to this fight!
Here are a few clues as to what they are, one clue per song:
Kiss
- Salty drips
- Boneyard
- Endearing Roar
Suicidal Tendencies
- Faith Robbery
- Eternal question
- Parricidal tendencies
Who will have the big brains and decipher the clues? Will it be you?
Also on our under card:
Led Zeppelin vs Wolfmother
RockFights are a great place to settle a score! The Zeps believe Wolfmother is a clone, while Wolfmother struggles to prove they are their own band. Wolfmother is certain the lead single from their new album Victorious will take down the “old man rock” of Dancing Days.
The Arrows vs Foghat
Foghat is a veteran at Funhouse customs, they are quite sure of themselves. The upstart rookie band, The Arrows are looking to make an underdog victory over an over-confident opponent. Foghat has reason to be confident, they have been here before and have a great relationship with the Funhouse folks.
Pantera vs Pantera
In our opener, we have an angry bunch of guys from Pantera, led By Phil Anselmo, looking to dispatch the old days of Glam Rock with a total domination. This one is very volatile.
Hold on, ladies and gentlemen!!! Pandemonium has broken out here at the arena. Before we could even get to the initial weigh-in, the boys at Pantera have started a brawl! There are fists flying here right now! Here comes security and they have tasers! Oh my god, they are tasing both band!. They have now cuffed them and are leading them out of the building! What is gonna happen?
We’ll have to wait for official word from the RockFight commissioner on this.
Well, folks, let’s see if we can through the rest of the contract signings before anything else erupts here!
Kiss and Suicidal Tendencies Main event is now final. Contracts signed!
Led Zeppelin and Wolfmother have signed, the RockFight is official!
Foghat and The Arrows have Signed!
Fight fans I have just been handed official word from RockFight Commissioner Sam J. Glarms:
“Here at RockFight! we pride ourselves in these shows. Pantera has been subdued and will not be able to appear at First Blood.
We want to bring you the best show we can.
So, in accordance with that, we have a substitute bout for RockFight 1: First Blood.
We are proud to announce:
Anthrax (featuring Joey Belladonna) vs Anthrax (featuring John Bush)
This is a highly contested fight. We are prepared to bring out, on short notice:
Anthrax – Imitation of Life vs Anthrax – Crush
Imitation of life is a classic Anthrax track from Among the Living with Joey Belladonna on vocals.
Crush is a sweet track from Volume 8. It was the John Bush version of Anthrax at their best.
So we have a thrash battle headed your way for April 30th’s RockFight 1: First Blood.“This is an amazing grudge match. Joey always claims to be the best Anthrax vocalist and John Bush appears to have had enough. The gloves are gonna come off in this no holds barred battle for vocal supremacy.

That rockers proves anything can happen at the RockFights. There is a fecal chant in the arena, as the crowd is amazed by these latest development.
