April 4, 2016 at 9:20 pm #466493Ladies and Gentlemen, Funhouse Customs welcomes you to RockFight 1: First Blood!
Fight Fans, welcome to an abandoned warehouse, to be further known as RockFight Arena.
Tonight, we have a blockbuster fight-card, stacked from top to bottom.
In our Main Event, rock titans Kiss battle the street-wise Suicidal Tendencies in a 3-Pack Throwdown. Both bands are so well backed, they have an army. The ultra-cocky guys from Kiss have no fear of the underdog bad-asses from Suicidal.
Who will prevail in this all out rockfest? The hat-flipped, flannel-with-only-the-top-button-buttoned, bandana-clad hoodies from California or the teased hair and spandex-wearing sultans of shill with a hot chick on each arm? It is up to you to decide! In our undercard, we have 3 solid fights:
In our opening bout, we have Pantera vs Pantera. This fight features the “Glamtera” of 1984 versus the power-driven machine from the Cowboys from Hell era of 1990. Projects in the Jungle featuring Terry Glaze on vocals vs The Art of Shredding with vocal powerhouse Phil Anselmo on vocals. An anger-driven Phil is a bad thing for Terry here. Can he pull out the upset of a lifetime or just get the beating that is expected?
Also on the card we have The Arrows – I Love Rock n Roll (1975 original version, which was covered by Joan Jett in 1982) vs Foghat – Honey Hush (a cover of a 50’s classic). Both tracks have that great classic rock feel to them, but only one will win this war of 70’s rock. The Funhouse veterans Foghat look to overpower the rookies, but on the strength of their anthem-y hit, the Arrows could take home the prize here.
In our lead RockFight going into the Main Event, we have Hard Rock Icon’s Led Zeppelin – Dancing Days vs Wolfmother – Victorious. The Led Zeppelin camp called out these sound-a-likes and challenged them to this RockFight. Zeppelin is out for blood and appears to be on a mission to dispatch of the scrappy Australian underdogs from Wolfmother. Wolfmother strikes back with the lead single from their newly released album Victorious. The Zeps rally up a hard assault with Dancing Days from Houses of the Holy.

April 4, 2016 at 10:14 pm #466502Nice! Can’t wait to vote. I also like the wrestling-inspired style, it hits deep for a smark like me ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
Hopefully we get some wrestling themes as customs in the near future ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

One of the community managers and the main tournament organizer over at SpinShare. Also somewhat decent at charting for RB3 I think.
April 4, 2016 at 10:26 pm #466503Just letting you guys know that I’ll be posting the RockFight polls from here on out, to have a lengthy hype post and a more minimalistic voting post. In addition, I’ll be posting a Youtube preview for each pair of songs, but just a warning that they might not be available to view in all countries, so I apologize in advance. That being said, here are the polls to vote for each matchup, and their respective videos:
RockFight 1 – Main Event: Suicidal Tendencies vs. Kiss (Songs will receive hints at a later date)
The first RockFight’s winning songs for each matchup will be released on April 30th. Thank you for voting!
EDIT: I don’t know how to embed media, so polls will be at a link for now.

Indeed. Nunchuck and Sygenysis are gaining the popularity and the love of the community so they’ll have our support when they stage a coup and take over C3 for their own evil purposes.
Those purposes I have no idea what, but they’re certainly up to something, I just know it…
In all seriousness this is a very neat way to put out your customs. I’d quote that great Fleetwood Mac song “You Make Customs Fun” which I’m sure was written about you guys.
