ELEPHANT TALK!!!
I’ve been SO wanting to do this, but the King scares the emoji out of me.
July 31, 2016 at 7:27 pm #472699Its very exciting what content we have to look forward to. Me and Oscarj08 did a ton of King Crimson but most of them are drums only.

I checked throughout the database today, and there are a few tracks that I would like to help upgrade at some point, esp. Lizard, Pictures Of A City and Starless.

Just tell me what specific songs you would like to upgrade and I’ll send you my project files. Will save you lots of time starting from scratch.
August 7, 2016 at 9:33 pm #473071It would be awesome to have more Fall Out Boy and coldplay. Folie a Deux is one of my favorite albums.

Some of the Coldplay stuff is residual from my old FoF days (I’m talking 5+ year old charts), some stuff from X&Y and Rush Of Blood To The Head. They probably need to be done from scratch again, but shouldn’t take too long. If you have any other ideas, I’m willing to work on stuff up to a select few songs from Ghost Stories (I did not enjoy the most recent album); including various B-Sides from their early days, some of which I believe to be as good as the album material. I already have quite a few charts in mind.
I really love Folie A Deux as well, it flows incredibly well. Compared to most of my charting material, those songs could be very easy to whip up and put out when I have the time. I already have the list of songs and audio prepared.

I’ll think about it. Usually when I work on this stuff, it’s two to three packs at a time. But right now, it’s the Kansas stuff, collaborating on the Zappa project, and various other charts amongst the packs.

From their older stuff, I love Talk, 42, Bigger Stronger, Charlie Brown, Glass of Water, Gravity, Lost!, and Help is Round the Corner. Those are some of my favorites. But I’d be happy with literally anything you put out by them, so go ahead and focus on what you wanna do.

Can I also suggest Crest of Waves, Animals, One I Love, Thing I Don’t Understand, Gravity and Atlas? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Many songs from the first four albums are on my list of to do, which is the main focus, but out of those suggestions some are on my list already:
Talk (Already did this for FoF once, just needs upgrading)
42 (still a maybe)
Charlie Brown (was a maybe, but I’ll add it)
Glass Of Water (one of my favorites from that era and I will certainly be doing it ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />)
Gravity (still not sure on this one, I feel like its a lengthier version of Amsterdam, but I love the synth arrangements on it)
Lost! (Pretty much done already for FoF, just needs vocals and someone to add keys and convert it, I have sheet music for it)
Thing I Don’t Understand (YES YES YES)
All the others I need to listen to, I have never heard Atlas and other ones need more listens before I decide (Bigger Stronger and One I Love). Probably will add Animals and Crest of Waves to the list.
A bit of history: I was introduced to Coldplay through the song Speed Of Sound, but never got into them until Viva La Vida came out, X&Y still remains my favorite. Saw them on the fifth leg of VLV tour, last time they would do smaller venues, sadly. My timeline of their work is divided by this album and ordered as such: Early days (1998-2001), Prolific/Creative Era (2002-2007), Popular Era (2008-2010), The Start of The Decline (2011-2013), U Wot M8? (2014-present).

I agree, anything will be amazing. Thanks alot!
August 10, 2016 at 1:22 am #473156Due to demand and the requests I’ve been seeing here on C3, I’ve gone ahead and added some Coldplay Twofers. Since I’m working on a lot of other stuff, I will put out some small two-song packs while I work on the bigger ones. First few are mostly upgrades, but some new songs as well. Includes everything I currently plan on doing for the first three studio albums.
Some upgrades from old charts I can’t do since Harmonix released them after I made them (Clocks, Fix You), so no loss there.
August 24, 2016 at 3:02 am #473800Still have not released much yet, outside of the Zappa songs (my current bottleneck along with real life). But plans in that area are changing and should open me up to working on my current crop of releases.
Some changes/current status:
Little progress has been made on the Kansas Pack (that dang guitar stuff and declining interest) and still plugging away on the Yes Pack. I may just find the time to sit down and plow through the guitar all at once.
The King Crimson Discipline pack has been upgraded to a full-band release of the whole album using the Obzen/Oscar charts provided by Sideshow. Those will have the audio replaced with the more recent 2011 remix. The Sheltering Sky has been added and work begun.
I have begun work on a Jethro Tull pack, consisting primarily of the animal-themed songs from Heavy Horses, while current collaborating with others on fixing my previous charts from FoF.
Work has started on the first round of Coldplay songs. Once fully tempo mapped, everything else should take right off.
Pack priorities have been moved around as well. Information added and removed.
August 24, 2016 at 3:13 am #473802Everything sounds awesome! Super excited for Coldplay. Thank you ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
