Thanks for the cool uploads. However, there’s one thing that kinda bugs me, and that is the genre choice of “Novelty” for the video game music. When I think “novelty” music, I think something like Alvin and the Chipmunks or the thousands of internet joke artists (Mr. Weebl, Perry Gripp, etc.). I would personally put them under more defined genres (such as Pop/Dance/Electronic for Techno Syndrome), or “Other” if the genre of the song isn’t covered in Rock Band.
It’s a minor thing, but I do take such things to heart.
August 9, 2013 at 6:48 am #404327Guys, I’m going to ask nicely the first time. I had to go through the thread and edit a bunch of posts full of youtube videos for requests.Stop posting requests on here. There is a Requests board for a reason. No need to spam MrMets thread with so many videos.
Thanks for that. And all though me getting to your request if you have one is highly unlikely given that I only am doing things that I wanna play, and am uploading to share with you fine people in case someone may think its cool and awesome as much as I do, I do check the request a song forum as well. And if someone requests a video game song that maybe I never thought of doing because it slipped my mind, maybe ill do it thanks to your suggestion bur no promises. But yes as TrojanNemo requested please put them in the request forum.
And for the genre for techno syndrome you’re right I probably should have done electronic I just naturally go to novelty for when I do all my video game stuff as that was the suggested genre for the video game music i believe by Espher, so its what I always use and probably always will because novelty is cooler than other lol You could fix it in LeFluffie though pretty easily, I just automatically went to novelty for that one out of habbit but yeah you’re right.
August 9, 2013 at 7:55 am #404330Mortal Kombat! Awesome, I love that song.
August 9, 2013 at 2:41 pm #404341Sorry I don’t do lower difficulties as they are a waste of time for me personally because no one in my house plays them ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” /> and doing reductions would just delay the time until I would get to play my song. I suggest possibly downloading all the necessary tools (Reaper, LeFluffie) and doing it yourself to learn how to do customs. Having almost fully learned to do customs, I think the best way to learn and get into customs would be to take a fully done customs and add lower difficulties. Anyone here could help if you ran into a problem, as many people here helped me when I ran into authoring issues. And again if anyone has requests for a song or lower difficulty, try getting into authoring on your own. I’m not some crazy tech computer guy and I figured it out fully by taking the time.
August 9, 2013 at 5:27 pm #404354I deleted and edited several posts that were nothing more than clutter.
No more requests for lower difficulties and/or songs…
If you’re not satisfied with what MrMet2087 is willing to share with us, move along. Pick up Reaper and learn to chart yourself.
Next person who asks is getting banned.
August 13, 2013 at 8:55 pm #404509UPDATE – 8/13/13 – This one from Mario Kart 64 “Ending Credits” This plays after you beat the last group of 4 courses on 150cc, when it shows little bits and pieces of all the courses. All instruments. Vocals are charted which follow along. solo vocals follows a little of all. Where the harmonies sticks mostly with the chorus that’s in the background, so they are kinda 2 different things you’ll be playing.
August 14, 2013 at 12:05 am #404516Mortal Kombat and Mario Kart… any other “MK” songs we should expect? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
Thanks. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
August 14, 2013 at 4:30 am #404520Not sure if you had that album which is the one that MK song is from, where each fighter had their own song? But I possibly will be doing a few of those later down the road. But as far as the movie, maybe 1 other song I have in mind, but not sure yet ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

But for the record, I do have that album, as well as the Techno Syndrome single, movie soundtracks, and the game music CDs that you had to send away in the mail for.
August 14, 2013 at 5:34 am #404525Hahahaha oh shit I didn’t even see that or make that connection I’m dumb haha but very clever on your part, not so clever on mine haha but yeah some of those songs like Sonya’s song and Johnny Cage’s would translate well I to gameplay.
August 15, 2013 at 4:14 am #404567Ah, such awesomeness. Finally got around to playing the little thirty seconds of RE. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
August 15, 2013 at 4:36 am #404573Haha that’s funny. Yeah there are notes there, just not much ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
UPDATE – 8/14/13 – This one from the PS1 game Silent Hill – “Silent Hill”. Plays during the opening title sequence. All instruments. Guitar is by far the hardest as that’s the track that has all that ridiculous strumming on whatever instrument that is. Bass follows the rhythm guitar, and Keys is pretty much the guitar track but with sustains instead of all that strumming, as well as some actually keys in it, but pretty much it’s an easier version of the guitar chart so if you get annoyed at the guitar chart, play the keys track on guitar. This will most likely be my last entry in the Silent Hill series, saved this one for last, despite probably being my favorite in the series. Enjoy.
August 17, 2013 at 3:41 am #404696UPDATE 8/15/13 – A custom from the PS2 game Zone of the Enders – “Anubis” This plays in game when encountering the impossible to beat orbital frame Anubis on the space station. All instruments. Love this game, but this will probably be the one only one I do from this game, but not sure yet. I haven’t tested so if there’s issues please let me know.
August 17, 2013 at 10:06 am #404710You must be a huge Hideo Kojima fan with the Metal Gear and now Zone of Enders offerings. I just recently played ZOE2 for the first time on the HD Collection. Great game!
August 17, 2013 at 1:09 pm #404721Mr. Met, would you care to give us a little gaming Bio on yourself so that we can get a feel for what additional game songs we might get the pleasure of one day seeing? Something like “I am X years old, I started playing when I was Y on System A. I played a lot of System B, and a little of System C. I like these genres and hate these genres, etc.
