UPDATE 10/3/13 – First update in a long time. Slowly working on a bunch of things, but this one I finished recently. From a movie I really liked “The Rock” It has a great soundtrack, done by the guy who did the Metal Gear Solid soundtracks 2-4. If you like Metal Gear, and Don’t know the movie, check this one out, you might like it.
October 3, 2013 at 2:26 pm #407239Has anybody tried to sing the chorus of Honky Tonk Women? My friend and I both tried it and I think there’s something wrong with it. We sang the song like it sounds, and we couldn’t hit the line that was charted. We then tried to sing higher and it was still hard to hit it. Weird. BTW, we were trying on hard. We didn’t try any other difficulty.Yeah, the chorus sections on HTW are all kinds of messed up. It won’t register correctly for me or others in my house unless we try to find the (off)key to talk/hum through it (which sounds akin to a dog dying when we get it to work). Not trying to be ungrateful at all, but it does make the song sort of unplayable for us. So much so that I had to make the tough decision to delete it back out of my game. It’s extra disappointing for me since this is one track that was near the top of my wish list for a very long time. It is my hope that if I ever get competent enough to chart vocals, I will try to fix it myself (unless someone with more experience does it first). Again, this is not meant as a complaint, I am extremely appreciative of all the hard work that goes into each one of these customs. Besides as MM stated, this is apparently how GH terribly charted the song in the first place.
October 3, 2013 at 4:29 pm #407247If you want to, in Le Fluffie you can extract the MID and put all the tracks into reaper, and open up the vocal track MID and adjust those note tubes to the pitch and note you want to sing. Export the MID from reaper and put it back into the file using Le Fluffie and sign and rebuild the file. I thought about changing it myself, but decided not to, and probably won’t.
October 4, 2013 at 8:02 am #407308I will be uploading pro drum charts of custom songs all month. Today’s video is from MrMet’s Metal Gear Solid 2 Skateboarding custom. Enjoy!
October 7, 2013 at 10:32 pm #407543UPDATE 10/7/13 – This one a Disney song from Beauty and the Beast, “Belle” This plays in the beginning of the movie as she’s walking through the town, first song in the movie. It’s fun to sing solo, but harmonies is broke up with the townsfolk, Belle, and Gaston. Guitar and bass follow different things, This one I just wanted to do guitar and vocals for because I made this one for my Mom, but I did some changes to bass to switch it up. If anyone wants to take this song and totally make it up with keys and drums, feel free, I’ll even provide the RPP and wav. A note about this one, the artist is listed as “Disney” in game, for those of you who follow me, and know why I gave all my video game songs the artist “Video Games” I think you can figure out why. Enjoy.

October 8, 2013 at 10:45 pm #407580UPDATE 10/8/13 – Hey guys, not making a big deal on this one cause it’s not a big one or anything but I threw this custom song together from Escape From LA, I know there’s a few people like Sideshow who like the John Carpenter stuff so here’s this one, “Snakes uniform”
October 9, 2013 at 12:33 am #407583You know I’m on it. Maybe something from “The Thing” or “Halloween” will come about someday. Thanks Mrmet2087!
October 9, 2013 at 5:05 pm #407616My girlfriend is super excited to try the Disney song out. I’ve told her that if I ever get into customs the first one I’ll do is I2I by Powerline (Goofy Movie). So thanks on making her day so much better.
October 9, 2013 at 5:12 pm #407617So awesome seeing Disney stuff. Here’s hoping you will do more in the future! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
October 9, 2013 at 8:31 pm #407632Disney music in Rock Band is something I didn’t realize I wanted until now. Oh man, I’m imagining it now. A rousing rendition of “Gaston” would bring the house down at a RB party.
Will definitely check out “Belle,” thanks!
October 12, 2013 at 2:24 am #407779Just played “Belle” and………..I love it. I didn’t think I would and got it almost as a gag. Now I crave more. Little Mermaid, BatB, Lion King, I can’t believe I’m even typing this.
Great job!
October 12, 2013 at 4:43 am #407787Thanks guys!

October 14, 2013 at 7:11 pm #407908UPDATE 10/14/13 – My first video game custom in a while, this one the main theme from Grand Theft Auto 3. This is the piano heavy jazz sounding song that plays during the beginning of the game during the opening credits. All 3 follow the opening piano riff until they start to separate. Keys follow the same backing piano riff for the whole song. Guitar follows the front piano and harp sounding thing after wards. Bass follows piano and horn, until bass comes in.
