It might be time to stock up on those back-up Rock Band party consoles.

Not surprised; the 360 has run its course. I wonder if Sony is going to keep supporting the PS3 as long as they supported the PS2 after the former came out.

What an incredible console and I still use it as much as my XboxOne mainly due to RB3 customs. I’m really happy that the backcatalog of arcade and disc games are slowing being emulated on the XboxOne. It’s just a matter of time before XboxLive is cut off from the 360.

RIP. Does the Rock Band Music Store app still work for RB3? Was considering going on and buying a few more tracks before live support gets dropped as well.

The music store definitely still works, but yeah, it just occurred to me as soon as LIVE is dropped we won’t be able to purchase songs.

            Stock up while ya can!

I wouldn’t worry too much about LIVE support, I think the Xbox Ones Backwards compatibility uses those 360 servers so they’re probably gonna wanna to keep them open

Spencer said in the post that Xbox 360 owners will continue to receive updates as usual, including for Xbox Live services for multiplayer gaming and parties, as well as any apps they’ve purchased. Support servers will also remain online, and the company’s support team will continue to service Xbox 360 consoles.

I still can’t believe Rocksmith still pumps out DLC on the Xbox360 and PS3.
