These guys were originally formed in Sweden under the name Kingpin, but re-located to Hollywood, CA and changed their name to Shotgun Messiah. Their first album under the new name was released in 1989. The first two albums totally kick ass. Anyway…

Here is a slight change in gears. How about some progressive / power metal (or as these guys call it: space metal)? It’s been a while since my last chart. I hope you guys enjoy this one. This is a pretty cool tune (and album as a matter of fact).

May 30, 2017 at 1:52 pm #485670Glad to see another one Freewaymad! (it has been awhile since your last release)

May 30, 2017 at 10:24 pm #485691You’re welcome.
Yeah… it wasn’t supposed to be that long between this latest release and the last one. I apologize for not getting my ass in gear. I have had a lot going on. Hopefully, I’ll get next one quicker.
May 31, 2017 at 1:53 am #485701I wanted to say thanks for all of the songs you’ve done so far. We nearly have the same music taste so I look forward to your releases.

Here is the title track to this great album. Little known fact, this title track was actually the demo to this album. When the band and producer tried to polish things up, it just did not come close to what they did on the demo. So, they kept the demo of the title track and released it on the album, as is. The actual album is the title track; demo, and the rest all polished.

June 24, 2017 at 4:33 am #486792You, Spindoctor and Nunchuck and Sy are really knockin’ some tunes out that Housequake loved growing up with! Between you doin’ Skid Row, Doc doing The Cult and the Funhouse putting up Prince…..look out! Y’all are getting to be her C3 heroes. I might be gettin’ jealous!
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />Thanks Mad! A BIG thanks from Housequake for “Slave to the Grind”!

This was some awesome guitar work by Dave Prichard (R.I.P.) who died in 1990 from leukaemia, at the age of 26. These guys have been one of my many favorites for years.
Enjoy,
