I’m using an electronic drum set, Millenium MPS-200 Special edition. I chose this one because it’s cheap, but any drums with a MIDI out should work with RB3’s MIDI-Pro adapter. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” /> And yes, it’s still available new.
I’m also using a Gibraltar 6711DB Bass Drum Double Pedal, I used to play on a Millennium PD-669 but I wouldn’t recommend this one, it broke after a while. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
Anyways, I’m glad you guys like the song. I suggested this back in the day when I thought I couldn’t ever chart this, but got no answer. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
January 3, 2015 at 1:17 pm #435615Thanks for the info
January 12, 2015 at 2:02 am #436019Wow what a fun song to play. I hope you do more Soft Machine in the future. Thanks a lot

NEW! One Way Glass – Manfred Mann Chapter Three
Here’s a quite challenging song on keys. Guitar is only a copy-paste of the keys track. It’s one of
, since it was covered by The Prodigy for the Kick Ass soundtrack in
.
January 25, 2015 at 1:50 pm #437020Here’s a thing that kept me busy for a while:
Multitrack songs 3-pack!
Pryapisme – Un druide est giboyeux lorsqu’il se prend pour un neutrino
A song from a french band I really like. This song (and the music video) encountered a pretty large success on YouTube (almost 800 000 views). Thanks a lot to these guys for handing me over the song stems ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
Progrom – Motmom
This song was made by my brother’s band (he’s the guitarist), they do experimental rock. I charted vocals, but it’s just gibberish, similar to what you’d hear in a Magma song (a french Zeuhl band ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />).
Nine Inch Nails – Echoplex
Echoplex was one of the song stems that Trent Reznor made available. It’s a good song to listen to, but in term of playability it’s highly repetitive (especially on drums). I tried my hand at authoring vocals too, I hope I didn’t mess it up too much. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
February 7, 2015 at 1:04 pm #437903Recompiled all songs that had no song id in their DTA file (thank you Sideshow for telling me ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” /> ) : 7 songs were concerned, I updated the links in the first post and in my spreadsheet.
Songs concerned:
Bass Battle – Scott Pilgrim OST
One Way Glass – Manfred Mann Chapter Three
Good to Die – Red Fang
Skinny Little Girl – Hanni El Khatib
Why Are We Sleeping? – Soft Machine
Motmom – Progrom
Echoplex – Nine Inch Nails
And here’s a new custom ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
Hanni El Khatib – Mexico
My favorite song out of his new album that came out last month. It should be pretty fun on guitar and drums ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
February 15, 2015 at 1:08 am #438409NEW! Lil Deuce Deuce – asdfmovie7 song
Features unpitched vocals as a bonus for the few last seconds.
NEW! Primus – Mr. Knowitall
Original chart (drums) by Desuvk. I added guitar, bass and unpitched vocals, although I don’t see where vocals could be pitched in that song ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
NEW! Primus – Tommy the Cat (Live)
Not really a song I worked on, but I found it in the “old customs” spreadsheet and it didn’t appear on my Xbox, so I rebuilt the song with another song ID and added CAT reductions. I would love to credit the guy, but I don’t know the original author.
Video previews will come… eventually! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
February 15, 2015 at 2:04 am #438412Thank you man, more Primus is always good news. Your customs are the absolute best!
February 15, 2015 at 10:58 pm #438453Thanks man! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Added video preview for asdfmovie7 song. I also recorded video previews for Mexico and Mr. Knowitall, but my game capture decided to crash on me so it’ll have to wait until next week.
And something pretty loud is in the works. Here’s a look at the tempo map just so you know what a mess it was to do ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
February 15, 2015 at 11:11 pm #438458If the version of Tommy the Cat is
, the original author is GanonMetroid.
February 16, 2015 at 2:05 am #438470I don’t know if you take requests, but do you think it would be at all possible to chart “Merry Go Bye Bye” by Mr. Bungle?
The huge noise piece might be pretty difficult to distinguish instruments, just wondering if it’s possible lol

Thanks, I credited him in the first post and in the spreadsheet.

I don’t really take requests because I like going from one band to another, but if I were to chart some Mr. Bungle, it probably wouldn’t be that song ^^” And as much as I love Mr. Bungle, this band is so hard to chart
February 22, 2015 at 10:17 pm #439076NEW! Gravity – The Dresden Dolls
Vocals are talkies only sadly, but if someone’s up for pitching them, I could upload the rpp file. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
NEW! Fire from the Evening Sun – Philm
A song from Philm, a.k.a Dave Lombardo’s new band. It’s pretty cool and fun to play, I wanted to chart unpitched vocals but this band is so unpopular that I couldn’t find lyrics (and it’s pretty hard to understand what the singer sings during some parts). x)
February 23, 2015 at 2:50 pm #439109Added video previews in the first post:
Hanni El Khatib – Mexico
Primus – Mr. Knowitall
March 24, 2015 at 2:11 pm #441245NEW! Red Fang – Blood Like Cream
A great song which came with
. It features two guitar solos! Vocals are unpitched.
NEW! Gong – You Can’t Kill Me
Daevid Allen, founder of Soft Machine and Gong passed away on March 13th, so I figured it was the good time to chart some Gong and pay him a tribute. This song is particularly fun on every instrument, with 3 sax solos, 1 guitar solo and a weird, Llama-like beat on drums. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
Vocals are unpitched as well.
(video preview coming this weekend)
