if you all run out of patience so quickly why do you run a site with thousands of people that go on it?
First of all, I don’t run out of patience so much as I don’t have any. Farottone, on the other hand, is like the giving tree. So much patience.
But we started this page and this project to unite the fledgling customs community and provide free content for a game we loved. People came to it and liked it and stuck to it. Of those thousands of people, not even 1% act like entitled assholes and complain because they’re too self-important to follow rules.
the one time i asked for Basket Case, i did search it, but UH OH!!! GREEN DAY IS A POPULAR BAND!!!! it’s not like i could ever possibly…..pass one of the songs while searching….right?
Was it that hard to go to xbox.com and search basket case? I just did it and straight away it pops up as a RB4 and a Rocksmith download. You are blaming other people, when you couldn’t take the time to either read the rules (Which granted alot people don’t which gets annoying) or a quick search on the website. If there’s a song I want I check on the xbox store. Not there? I come to C3 and check the customs page. Still not there? I either add it my WIP or request it. All of that took me not even 2 minutes, which is alot less time consuming than getting mad at people for your laziness.
There’s no need to go anywhere other than C3; I’m pretty sure all the official stuff is listed here.

Why be pretty sure, when you can be 100% sure.
i don’t think that it’s your life purpose to ban people off of here, but you have a damn good time doing it while others can do nothing don’t ya?
The are genuinely people on the Internet like Woodsieboy who thinks that instead of drinking a cola, watching a movie, spending time with wife/girlfriend we love having to check the forums, reading posts, taking time to make a decision, going to the moderator panel, look for a member, issue a suspension, explain the suspension, etc. I actually have a life, I have employees, I have clients to respond to, having to moderate people who go through life without reading the rules is pretty low on the list of things I’d love to do.
Anyway, a good occasion to once again explain to the very very few entitled users we have left why it’s really bad to not even search for songs they want, straight from the rules that almost all but not everyone reads
People keep requesting available songs, which is really disappointing. Checking if a song is available takes roughly 20 seconds. Authoring a song takes 12 hours. Anybody who is requesting a song that is already available is saying that they can’t be bothered to spend 20 seconds for something that it takes 12 hours to accomplish. Plus, if you really want to play a song, doesn’t it make sense that you look for a download link before you request it? […] Again, if you want to play a song so badly that you’re willing to ask somebody to spend hours on it make sure you’re actually looking for it before requesting it.
So, you’re asking, why wouldn’t we just take the time to tell you a song is available, yet you don’t take the time to search for it. On top of that you have not posted a single line that was not a request or a complain: in a community that runs on appreciation that is as close to a leecher as it goes.
Woodsieboy, it’s very simple: READ THE RULES. No one here goes out their way to be a jerk or an ass. You, on the other hand, are being a jerk and you are making an ass of yourself by arguing, period. This site is set up the way creators wanted it. So, stop trying to buck the system and being so disrespectful.
