April 29, 2013 at 3:59 am #398938How about “Life In a Northern Town” by Dream Academy?
Great song for vocals/harmonies, not sure about any other instruments, though!
April 29, 2013 at 10:32 am #398946How about “Life In a Northern Town” by Dream Academy?I’ve thought about that one a lot. In my experience, strings don’t map well to guitar – the attack is much looser, and it doesn’t end up feeling like you’re playing it. The oboe is pretty prominent too, and there are keys at the same time, which introduces another disconnect.
April 30, 2013 at 2:05 am #398968I forgot how massive the keys are in BERLIN. I vote for a Berlin pack:
Riding on the Metro
Masquerade
No more words
and of course….. SEX

May 5, 2013 at 3:41 pm #399261First of all sorry, I know understand how you guys would like the requests organised so most of the bands form my post yesterday should have been in here.+1 for Joy Division… of course I’d enjoy everything mentioned above.
The 80s Whereabouts Pack
“Walking In L.A.” by Missing Persons
“Big In Japan” by Alphaville
“One Night In Bangkok” by Murray Head
I will take a crack at learning to chart customs to make this a reality.
Wow I second these request as well, good pick buddy and if some could be interested on charting these two songs? ” Faith ” by George Michaels and ” Your Love ” by The Outfields?? these 2 songs where big hits back in the 80’s and I hope someone here gets interested eventually and take my request;By the way thanks to everybody here involved with this project and keeping Rockband alive ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
May 6, 2013 at 3:12 am #399289Great picks from everyone. Look forward to any of them!
June 2, 2013 at 3:13 pm #400399Great picks from everyone. Look forward to any of them!Same here!
Still can’t believe that we never got “Beds Are Burning” by Midnight Oil for official DLC.
June 4, 2013 at 10:51 pm #400537How have we gotten this far in the thread with ZERO mention of PRINCE! To me he’s at the top of the list for “songs that would be awesome to play in rock band that could never, ever get officially licensed”. Something like Let’s Go Crazy would just be utterly amazing in Rock Band.
June 5, 2013 at 12:16 am #400544WARRANT – Heaven
WARRANT – I Saw Red
WARRANT – Down Boys
WARRANT – Big Talk
WARRANT – Uncle Tom’s Cabin
SKID ROW – I Remember You
SKID ROW – Youth Gone Wild
SKID ROW – Sweet Little Sister
SKID ROW – Slave to the Grind
SKID ROW – Piece of Me
SKID ROW – Monkey Business
LA GUNS – Ballad of Jayne
June 5, 2013 at 12:25 am #400545Nena – 99 Luftballoons
That is all.
June 5, 2013 at 10:39 pm #400603At some point C3 needs to have a campaign to complete the Vice City soundtrack. Between 99 Luftballons and Your Love by The Outfield we’ve had two already mentioned on this page.
Also, hell yes to the Skid Row. Youth Gone Wild needs to happen.

No matter how much we want something, it ain’t gonna happen.
June 6, 2013 at 12:31 am #400617While Prince isn’t my favorite artist, I do like some of his songs.
Let’s Go Crazy is a great song. 1999 and a couple other songs of his would be fun as well.

That’s not entirely true. I’ve lost count of the songs that have been requested and that have already been charted or will be in the near future. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Requesting may not do much in terms of making people spend 20 hours on a song they don’t enjoy, but it’s fun to see that more than a few people will have their wish granted. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
