Great song for vocals/harmonies, not sure about any other instruments, though!
How about “Life In a Northern Town” by Dream Academy?I’ve thought about that one a lot. In my experience, strings don’t map well to guitar – the attack is much looser, and it doesn’t end up feeling like you’re playing it. The oboe is pretty prominent too, and there are keys at the same time, which introduces another disconnect.
I forgot how massive the keys are in BERLIN. I vote for a Berlin pack:

How have we gotten this far in the thread with ZERO mention of PRINCE! To me he’s at the top of the list for “songs that would be awesome to play in rock band that could never, ever get officially licensed”. Something like Let’s Go Crazy would just be utterly amazing in Rock Band.

That’s not entirely true. I’ve lost count of the songs that have been requested and that have already been charted or will be in the near future.
