Never mind I see what the advanced users section was meant for now. Can anyone download the free pack 01 and upload it?
February 15, 2014 at 11:17 pm #414141The link to download directly from Sony is on the OP, under Files Needed. We do not want people sharing official content on here.
February 17, 2014 at 10:41 pm #414273Some news, both of the good and bad variety. Let’s start with the good…
We may have figured out a way to get the audio working properly! That means we can have proper previews (that don’t just start at the beginning), proper pausing, and practice mode. So stay tuned for more info on that.
The bad news: My PS3 just received the Yellow Light of Death. Attempting to fix it right now, but as I’ve read, there’s no permanent fix for the YLOD…so the fix listed above may take a little while to be released.
February 18, 2014 at 2:59 pm #414324ok, i know it is snowing out…and my coffee hasn’t kicked in….BUT…
“/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30463/USRDIR/HMX0756/songs/” i don’t have an hmx0756 nor a songs folder
i just have /dev_hdd0/game/blus3063/usrdir/gen and like 2 files underneath…..
any idea what i did wrong….never had the game before, loaded it up and had it copy its files over….
any help will be appreciated.
February 18, 2014 at 8:39 pm #414342Looks like you don’t have the Rock Band Free Pack 1 installed. You must have that installed first, otherwise this won’t work.
Also once you’ve installed that, you’ll have to go back to the initial setup section, as you’re missing the songs.dta file that you find in the Rock Band Free Pack 1.
February 18, 2014 at 9:27 pm #414344Since my wifi does not work on my PS3 anymore, I’m assuming I’m going to have to do the advanced users method. Is there any other way I can get the klicensee?
February 18, 2014 at 9:58 pm #414347That’s the only way of finding it unfortunately. Do you have a router? Perhaps consider getting an Ethernet cable and connecting that way.
February 18, 2014 at 10:47 pm #414353Tried that… well not to router but to my laptop. The cable lights up for 10 seconds during startup. After that… doesn’t work. The internet test passes if I’m within that short time interval.
February 18, 2014 at 10:49 pm #414354I think it’s clear you need to first figure out your hardware issues with your PS3 before attempting customs. You’re welcome to keep trying here, but this is not a PS3-centric forum and you’ll get little to no support because we barely have anyone on here that even owns a PS3, much less be able to offer support with modded PS3 hardware issues.
Get the hardware issues sorted, solid WiFi connection. Then try customs again ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
February 19, 2014 at 12:18 pm #414394dang…my ps3 is banned….
February 21, 2014 at 8:54 pm #414534dang…my ps3 is banned….There are ways around this. Look into either SEN enabler or PSNpatch, one of these should get you back online to at least download the Free Pack.
Also this weeks release for PS3 will be a bit late, as we are currently testing the new audio format. Once it’s ready to go, I’ll upload this weeks release, and start converting the previous weeks to the new format.
March 2, 2014 at 4:49 pm #414954I had to resort to other methods that I won’t discuss to retrieve it…would it be possible to convert xbox 360 jtag DLC to ps3 on ps3 converter? Or is there encryption that prevents this? Also, how is the new audio method going along?
March 2, 2014 at 4:52 pm #414955I’m sure you’re not asking if / how to illegally convert official DLC content to PS3 instead of, you know, supporting the company that gave us the game and buying it. I’m absolutely sure that’s not what you’re asking. Cause I would hate to have to ban you and what not.
Support HMX. Buy official content.
March 2, 2014 at 4:55 pm #414956I don’t have any methods to even download the DLC on my PS3 since wifi and ethernet is absolutely broken on the PS3. If you have any ideas to fix it then that would be great. The only other way I could think of which I’m not sure is even possible is to take off DLC from a RROD Xbox to PS3.
March 2, 2014 at 4:57 pm #414958Your inability to purchase content because of whatever is not an excuse to pirate DLC. Buy a new PS3, buy a wireless router, fix your ethernet port. Not our problem.
But make sure you understand this. No more discussion of pirating anything or it will be the last time you post on here.
