This is something that I was discussing with farottone yesterday, and i’m sure C3 will make some sort of statement as to that effect eventually.
I’m not an admin so I don’t have controlling opinions on C3 decisions, but I do host the content. Insofar as that goes, GHL and RB4 files themselves (either original or converted, if that becomes possible) will not be hosted on my server. Whether C3 will take some sort of measure beyond that (i.e. preventing customs of songs available in GHL for example) that’s up to them.

at what point will you be removing GHL songs then? RB4 songs came down immediately.

But those are GH converts, not different charts made by C3 people. Different situation.

I’m starting to like the way this game is going as far as the music video content. If they had made this a band game I would have bought it.

Hmm… With vocals added this may be a future purchase for me once it goes on sale somewhere. Unless, before that, someone is able to extract the audio and midis from the game so that we can convert to RB3.
If GH’s announced songs weren’t so unappealing to me, this vocal announcement would’ve made it a Day 1 purchase.
