Anyone else wonder how the heck these guys got absolutely no songs in Rock Band? For starters I would say a 3-pack of their songs would be awesome. It seems like they would have sold well as official DLC. It looks like they only had one song released in Guitar Hero as well but it never got converted to Rock Band. Not to mention, it wasn’t even one of their most popular songs (it was “Name” for those curious). Anyways, here are the songs I would pick:

Name was great fun! but i would love all/any songs from Dizzy Up the Girl or A Boy Named Goo, but i would probably download anything from them xD

Since Guitar Hero did get “Name” its always a possibility somebody will convert it to RB3. Would also love to see Sponge “Plowed” get converted as well.

+1 for Sponge. I love all their albums. Also, if I had to pick one Goo Goo Dolls song for custom it would be Long Way Down.

never heard of sponge but i loved that song plowed.. this was the great thing about GH and RB, it introduced me and many others to great music we never thought about listening too.. and for me, that’s something customs can never do

Why can’t customs do that for you when we release them in the same way official DLC was released with preview videos and everything?

I don’t really know, maybe it’s because i can have anything i want, maybe it’s because there’s too much to choose from, maybe it’s because i’m not being charged xD but i’ve never got the same urge to try out new artists like i did back when i was buying them for GH and RB..

 

maybe i had more time back then… and my only choice was.. GH DLC, RB DLC, or go without.. and now i don’t have much time,and i’m actually buying CDs and stuff.. so i get my new music that way..
