Thanks for all the great work!
October 31, 2014 at 8:21 pm #431933Sorry nothing new this week. A combination of lack of time and lack of motivation led to no releases.
Maybe if AC/DC had a scary song I would’ve had a go at it. Look forward to next week though! I’ve got some different stuff in the works. Have a great Halloween!

November 6, 2014 at 3:42 am #432243It would be so awesome if Play Ball could be refined for an official C3 release to coincide with the album release so it could reach it’s maximum potential. Awesome work as always, funky!

Hopefully we’ll see some more AC/DC flowing through the C3 pipeline in the coming months. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
November 7, 2014 at 5:10 pm #432388I’ve got a few different things this week, all from female led groups – even though you can’t sing as them. All new artists to my repertoire and 2 of them making a RB debut.
Joins 4 other tracks from the album already in the game. Features a fun bassline and entertaining drums.
This New Zealand born singer hasn’t made much of a splash in the US, but this track is a nice high tempo rock song that builds to a great finish.
This band consisting of three sisters has some real talent. All of this was a pain to chart for how “off grid” a lot of it is, but there’s fun to be had on all 3 instruments.
All follow the normal Rough Cut regulations. I did go the extra distance to make bass charts though. Learning to use that Low Pass filter really makes a difference. As usual, if anyone want to add vocals to these, let me know and I’ll send you the files.
I’ll probably have some more rough cuts next week, maybe going back to the guys. I hope some of you are excited for these. Enjoy!
November 8, 2014 at 11:53 am #432459OMG HAIM. Many thanks and hope for more of them. Their album is really great.
November 8, 2014 at 10:33 pm #432503Oh daaaaaaymn Haim is amazing. I hope it gets a vocal treatment somehow. Also, being a New Zealander it’s pretty funny to see Gin Wigmore on here.
November 9, 2014 at 1:41 am #432514Also, being a New Zealander it’s pretty funny to see Gin Wigmore on here.Yeah I saw the video for Black Sheep at like 4 in the morning on VH1 one night and thought it was alright, so I decided to listen to her albums and thought they were pretty good. Definitely unlike anything here in the States. I love her voice. I figured I’d at least get one of her songs in the game.
As for HAIM, I’d love to do more, but their music is not very RB friendly. A lot of weird sporadic drumming with multiple tracks dubbed over each other, and a ton of post production effects on the instruments.
November 14, 2014 at 6:13 am #432817Another week, another 3-pack of rough cuts.
First we have a track of the latest Jack White album, Lazaretto. This track starts out soft, but builds to a great finish. Guitar is a mix of piano, strings, and guitar. Drums are probably the highlight of the song.
.
Next we have a relatively obscure song from an artist that needs to be in this game more. I figured I’d help by doing a real gem off of his 1980 album, Playing for Keeps. This track features some really interesting drumming, as well as some great moments on guitar and bass.
.
Finally this week, we have one of the biggest one hit wonder tracks of all time (for the US at least). 99 Luftballons, an anti-nuclear protest song from German pop group Nena, which reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1983 and has been used in many TV shows, films, and videogames. The song alternates between slow and fast, so drummers beware. However, the highlight of the song is the bassline. Music video.
All of these tracks have been compiled using the newest version of Magma, so they should be cache wipe-proof. It hasn’t been tested, but I followed the instructions from Nemo, so it should work.
Yes, I will do it for all of my previous releases.
No, it won’t be any time soon.
That’s it for this week. Hope there’s something here for you guys to enjoy!

LOL, that wasn’t just a one hit wonder in Germany at all! In the early 80s Nena got some good songs (e.g. Nur geträumt, Leuchtturm, Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann) that all went into the top ten. I know, in USA it was a bit different.
It’s a pity no vocals are offered, but thanks for the song anyway. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
November 14, 2014 at 5:15 pm #432859Good job as Usual Mr. Dunkleman
Haven’t heard that Eddie Money song in a long frickin time
November 15, 2014 at 2:17 am #43292799 luftballons. Previously only on singstar and now in Rock Band. Thanks
November 15, 2014 at 3:56 am #432937Wow. Eddie Money. I don’t suppose that I could talk you into doing Trinidad, could I?
Not that The Wish isn’t a can full of pure awesomesauce!
November 15, 2014 at 4:44 am #432939I would love to do tons more Eddie. Unfortunately it’s hard to find guitar tabs for much more than Two Tickets to Paradise online, and I have a hell of a time making charts without tabs to base them off of. That’s part of the reason I can churn out AC/DC tracks so fast, almost all of their discography is tabbed online, Eddie not so much.
Never say never however. The appalling lack of the Money man in Rock Band may force me to do more in the future. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
