My relatives and I are planning a family trip to Boston for a week. There will be 12 of us, so regular taxis or rental cars seem inconvenient. We would like something comfortable so that everyone can travel together, and that there is Wi-Fi, a toilet, and air conditioning. It is also important that the driver knows the city and can adjust to our route. Are there any trusted companies that rent buses or minivans for such family groups? And how can I find out the cost in advance so as not to overpay?

I would recommend looking at https://coachamerica.com/destinations/boston . They have minivans for up to 15 people and coach buses for up to 56 people, which is convenient for family trips. You can choose bus with comfortable seats, a toilet, and Wi-Fi, and booking takes only a few minutes. Managers will help you create a route around Boston and the surrounding area, including attractions such as Freedom Trail or Fenway Park. The drivers are professional, they know the city and provide safe travel. We used their services and were satisfied: everything is convenient, comfortable, and the price is known in advance.

Yes, and for large family groups it is really convenient. We went through Coach America to Boston for 10 people: the minivan was compact but roomy, and for long trips we took a coach bus. It is nice that you can choose specific routes and buses with amenities. The drivers are polite and experienced, and the company managers are always in touch for consultations. If you want comfort and minimal stress during trips, I recommend their service.
