I can commit to: I Was Born to Love You, and Without a Fight (Guitar and Bass.)
I can start when All Agents are Go!
July 29, 2013 at 3:50 am #403632You know, “La La” was a song I’ve kinda always wanted to do anyway. I’ll take that one on. See how far I can get on it, ’cause right now, my left ear is bummin’ out on me, so using headphones (in my case, ear buds) isn’t as effective as it should be.

I think we’ll target the November date for this pack, then. Should give us ample time to prep/playtest. If we do get all the songs, great, but if not, I’m fine with a smaller pack (we can always look at another down the road if interest is there).
July 29, 2013 at 6:34 pm #403655Is there a preference between versions of “Makes No Difference”? There’s the original from their EP “Half Hour of Power” and the re-record for their best-of “All the Good Shit.” I am currently authoring the original, since I like using original versions (unless there’s huge difference that makes the later version better), but I can switch over to the re-record if wanted.I much prefer the original version, it’s slightly faster and sounds like their All Killer No Filler material, which is my favourite Sum 41 album. Plus, when EBA came out, the re-record hadn’t been released yet, so if we want to be true to the game then we should use the original.

Well then with that and espher’s input, I’ll stick to the original. I figured it’d be the original, but wanted to make sure before charting the wrong version. Thanks.
July 30, 2013 at 6:13 pm #403700I think the part still needing to be offered is Vocals. If we got a vocal author to volunteer then it seems we could proceed with some of the songs.fwiw I think I missed this reply the first time though, but I’ll do vocals/harms for pretty much any of these, so if that’s all you’re waiting on for a collab, get started and let me know you need me to chart ’em. Get me a tempo-mapped REAPER project and I’ll do it up.
July 30, 2013 at 7:36 pm #403702I’m in the middle of 5 other songs right now, but if no one has tempo mapped anything by the time I am finished then I can do that. Probably in about 3 weeks. But if someone else can start sooner then please do!
August 15, 2013 at 12:12 pm #404579Well, I just realized I have absolutely no grasp on the drums for “La La.” Anyone care to take a stab at them?
It’s over here. It’s really just a (crappy) first draft, so edit your heart out. Them verses are a bit of a mess.
August 22, 2013 at 10:19 am #404965I’m going to kick this off with “I Was Born to Love You” tempo mapped.
There is no lead in since the song has its own.
Also, see if you like how I ended the song.

August 22, 2013 at 3:53 pm #404972I’m in the middle of recording a billion vocal/backing audio pairs and trying to get RB:HP production sped up (and ahead of the curve), but I’ll make some time for this over the weekend and try to get started on vocals.
August 23, 2013 at 11:10 am #405017No hurry on the EBA charting.
I have “I Was Born To Love You” charted on X Guitar and X Bass.

I am posting this here so others involved in the project can see that there is movement on it. For now, please send play-testing comments in a PM instead of cluttering up this board.
I am also planning on doing Without a Fight G/B for sure. DVDSmith offered drums. We just need a vocals contributor.
August 23, 2013 at 11:12 am #405019As mentioned, I’m game for charting vocals on any of these unless someone else has the itch.
August 24, 2013 at 12:09 pm #405049Here is the start of Hoobastank – Without a Fight. X-Guitar so far.

At 180 BPM, there are awkward parts and I am open to suggestion. I’ll probably simplify some parts to make it more fun to play even though it might not be technically correct.
August 30, 2013 at 10:43 pm #405383Here is “Without a Fight” with drums added:

All difficulties charted and animations added. Missing drum fills, overdrive and play/idle commands.
September 13, 2013 at 7:41 pm #406157Okay, I’ve done Expert drums for I Was Born to Love You. I’ve done no more than that yet because some parts of the song are really fuzzy and I want a second opinion before I reduce.
