Multitracks for Hollaback Girl? Awesome. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
June 23, 2013 at 11:41 pm #402037I know right!
September 24, 2013 at 3:00 am #406711updated the thread with new info and new artists I’m interested in.

This is why I stuck with Blink-182.

September 24, 2013 at 4:07 pm #406733We’ve talked about it a bit in PM, but yeah, I think the ideal presentation for Heartthrob is “Closer”, “Goodbye, Goodbye”, “I Was a Fool”, and then maybe one other track that you really like. Bam, you’ve got a “Heartthrob 4-pack”, which has plenty of precedent — Harmonix did a pack from Nirvana’s Bleach and a pack from NIN’s Pretty Hate Machine, both of which were named for the album but weren’t the full thing.
Alternately, if you’re not able to do Walking with a Ghost for Halloween, you could add that song and maybe something from Sainthood and just do a big Tegan and Sara pack.
September 24, 2013 at 4:11 pm #406734We did 2 Pantera album-themed 4-packs, so I’d say it’s cool. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

As much as I wanted to do “Walking With a Ghost” for Halloween, I think I’d be too busy with the Weird Al tracks. I think if I’m going to make it a big Tegan and Sara pack I’d have “Closer”, “Goodbye, Goodbye”, “I Was a Fool”, and most likely “Drove Me Wild”. Maybe since I already started “Walking With a Ghost” already, I could add that in, and then the song from Sainthood would probably be “Arrow” or “Alligator” most likely.
This is a pretty good idea, so I’ll see what I can do. The thing is, Tegan and Sara are one of my favorite bands (perhaps even my most favorite), so it’s hard to decide. Once the Weird Al pack is finished, I may go back to authoring more Tegan and Sara tunes.
September 24, 2013 at 7:32 pm #406737Yeah, no pressure, man! Do however many you’d like.
I’m still willing to help out a bit on the Heartthrob tracks, but I gotta get through my own queue first.
November 27, 2013 at 4:02 am #409819Oh what a surprise, drummerockband has updated his thread again YIPEE. But seriously, I mainly updated it for a few things, #1 AN APOLOGY TO DVDSMITH AND MAYBE OTHERS. About the School of Rock pack. I don’t think I’ll be able to come through on the SoR pack just yet (or ever). Before everyone gets pissed at me for committing to something and then dropping it (which I’ve done before. Heartthrob album comes to mind), I just don’t think I can have the energy or what ever you want to call it to finish it. I feel extremely bad about this because everyone says “to do songs, you really got to love the songs you work on”. This is 100% true, and while it is true, I can’t feel this way about the SoR tracks at the moment (maybe in the future, but I kind of doubt it tbh). If DVDSmith wants to finish the tracks on his own, he is 100% welcome to. I know he had a lot of work put in to these songs at the moment, so I’d hate to have them go to waste. If anyone else wants to pick up the tracks to give him a hand, they are more then welcome. Once again, I can’t express about how bad I feel about this. If I did these songs on my own, I’d scrap them, but since it was supposed to be a collab, I just can’t commit.
Anyway sorry for the wall of text, but I had to get this off my chest because I had been feeling this way for a while now, and I didn’t want everyone to just keep waiting for something I can’t finish.
On a side note, I’ve added what’s next for me, if I can even finish my own things.
Thanks for understanding everyone, and I hope everyone doesn’t hate me over this.
November 28, 2013 at 9:41 am #409906No apology necessary. We’re all doing this in our spare time and sometimes things just don’t work out for whatever reason.
I’d hate to see the SoR tracks go to waste so I’ll finish them off. It shouldn’t take too long, they were almost there anyway. Don’t worry about it mate. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
November 28, 2013 at 12:43 pm #409914Thanks for understanding DVD. Hopefully you can finish them ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />.
December 20, 2013 at 10:46 pm #410976Hey, could you send me what you’ve done of the School of Rock tracks? I think you’ll have the most up-to-date versions. Gonna try and finish them up over the holidays – shouldn’t take too long, I think most of the Expert charts were already done.
December 21, 2013 at 1:12 am #410982Added 2 new songs to queue:Taylor Swift – I Knew You Were Trouble (with seperated vocals)
Gwen Stefani – Hollaback Girl (full multitracks)
Also going on a trip this weekend coming up, but once I get back I plan to have Tegan and Sara – Back in Your Head in playtesting soon after.
I am way too excited for that T. Swift song ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
