alright, i think i might be doing a little too much thread/topic posting in here about charting but i’m wanting to get at least 95% of this chart correct before doing playtesting or as much as i can but the drum track i have is all mixed into one track and i’ve been charting most of the track with snares yet when i listen to it & examples of snares i notice that it sounds completely different & what i’ve been charting to snare aka blue gems doesn’t even sound like any part from an actual drum set. i guess this is what i get when i chart a pop song that used apperently a drum machine during recording so can anyone give me help charting this? i want to do the charting myself, i just need confirmation on what i’m actually hearing is right or wrong. i can also link anyone who wants to help to the drum track as i have uploaded it at least once for another person who tried helping me and told me to chart on blue.

drums audio http://www.mediafire.com/download/3vbje … /drums.mp3 (ignore the fact it’s in mp3, it was originally a wav file but i rendered it as a mp3 to save space when uploading so i wasn’t uploading a 50+ mb file)

The cymbals at the very beginning are blue. After that, I would definitely chart the blue as a snare, it’s the main downbeat sound and it makes sense. Also, leaves blue free for other sounds, should you need to diversify.
