Hello! I am new to this so sorry if I am in the wrong section. I need to know is there a way to get all songs out right now in one download? I want all the custom songs this site has to offer but don’t want to go trough the time consuming task of downloading them all one by one. Any answers would be great thanks!

Oh well that kinda sucks. It would be good if someone were to make a file to download them all at once.

June 1, 2014 at 3:41 pm #421582The problem with such a download is that it would be a insane lot of work on our behalf to keep it updated, having to reupload a two-digit Gigabite file every week for every new release. If we could we would, but it’s simply not possible for us to do, sorry.
EDIT: Sorta ninj’ad I see

June 3, 2014 at 5:53 pm #421687Is it possible in the future to do the weeks together? or at least packs?
June 3, 2014 at 6:02 pm #421690No. The same problem continues to exist. It would require someone to volunteer to maintain the weekly pack updated whenever an update to any of the songs are made. And not everyone wants to download every song, so then there would likely be people saying “oh can you make a pack of band x and separate pack for the other songs?” and then it never ends.
It’s really not that difficult to click 6-15 links any given week, and this way allows us to keep statistics of what users download and also allows you to only get what you want, and easily keep your copy updated.
June 4, 2014 at 4:57 pm #421759Makes sense not to do it with the new releases every week, but doing a torrent every 6 months might not be a bad idea.

Who’s going to seed it initially?

It’s possible to set up a tracker on a server that also serves as a permanent seeder, so that way there is always at least one peer providing a seed.
June 7, 2014 at 8:27 pm #421986And who is going to provide a server for that use? And who’s going to put it together and put it on that server? And who’s going to keep it updated? And how good is a several GB pack that has EVERYTHING rather than let’s say, all the Queensryche songs? Who’s going to do all the variety of packs that doing this would incite people to ask for?

June 8, 2014 at 6:06 pm #422043For what it’s worth I have downloaded everything (and redownloaded some as updates come) and never thought it was an issue. Even took the time to rename the files artist-song where that wasn’t done and it wasn’t that bad. If anything it gave me a better idea of everything I have in game. If somebody doesn’t want to take the time to download them maybe they don’t need them or have time to play them.

I’d have to download everything first but I’m totally willing to.
