I saw it man, tried it, and u did a good job, for real, theres just a smal problem, some pull-offs are kinda too fast than it should, but thats a miner problem, generaly its good.

Brothers in Arms was done by TrojanNemo, and posted in the old customs thread.

No, it wasn’t. I’ve now had two people PM me for the song. I did not work on that song. Never even heard it in my life.

Sorry.   Did you write Money for Nothing?

The old Rock Band Custom spreadsheet has Brothers in Arms as Single #183, with TrojanNemo credited.  The link to the rbcon is dead.  I just looked at that link again, and it seems to be to an old version of Money for Nothing.  So, my guess, everything here is on the wrong line, and TrojanNemo should have been credited for Money for Nothing.

By the way, Visualizer doesn’t help here, so the author is currently unknown.

Brothers in Arms is a very old custom from the wild west days. It fades out and vocals are a rough draft but it plays decent on drums. No idea who the author is.

It’s difficult to imagine now, but there was a time when Magma: C3 didn’t exist, so while authors could have manually (and tediously) entered their name into the songs.dta file, I don’t think anyone was doing that. Visualizer relies on Magma: C3 tags, so a song compiled prior to Magma: C3 is unlikely to have that information in it.

All I can do is the same you can do by downloading and using C3 CON Tools. What happens when you try to convert it?

                #457447

it doesnt get the sound file, only the midi, some configs and icons, the song con is like 23mb, and converted its like 100kbs, somethings wrong there. also if i play it (i did first time without checking that problem) the game crashes (does not respond have to ctrl alt del that out)

                #457448

idk whats wrong actually there in this case, im kinda new to this convert thing, ill probably have to add the song file myself, and change some stuff, u know how this stuff works right?

Well, I created the tool, so yeah I think I know how it works. Make sure you read the Help doc that comes with Phase Shift Converter. Make sure you have all the required files. Make sure your antivirus isn’t blocking anything from running. Watch the tutorial video. If after all of that, you’re still having problems, post on the C3 CON Tools thread. There’s no need to continue to clutter this thread.
