January 8, 2015 at 7:43 pm #435827Very nice, I was wondering who’d be the first to put out some BNL. I know I have a few I’ve been considering, just not great at picking out their guitar or keys.

A couple firsts represented here: My first (published) bass chart, and my first attempt at engineering the removal of a fade-out. I think the latter worked out pretty well, but I’d still like the hear what you think.
This one is actually sourced from vinyl (didn’t notice ’til after I mapped), which accounts for the clicks and pops you can hear.

Funnily enough, I just finished tempo mapping an entire album and after having done so I realised it was taken from a vinyl and had to redo it from scratch using a better source. Fun times!

There’s nothing more disheartening than redoing work you already slaved over. Been experiencing some of that myself. Good luck.

Indeed. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
However, Farottone’s comment reminded me that there are standards to be observed, and I’ve since upgraded my source. A new version will be made available once I’ve re-done the map.

I absolutely didn’t even think of suggesting that, I was just sharing a story. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif”> Don’t redo that because of me…
January 11, 2015 at 2:10 am #435954Fear not, O Prolific One.
The standards I mentioned are self-imposed. I did not at all think your comment was in any way a suggestion. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

I’ve never heard this song, so I thought some virgin ears might work as useful feedback.
If you didn’t mention this song originally had fade-out, I never would have noticed. Great job!!
Blended well, and the audio level is consistent.
Thanks for this ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Useful feedback, indeed!
I’m certainly no pro, so any affirmation is much appreciated. Thank you. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
