Short story incoming; A friend of mine asked me if I was willing to chart a song for him to play in Rock Band, I graciously accepted the request and became astonished as to how I didn’t know this song beforehand. I was so taken by this song that I immediately dropped everything to start charting it. I had all the legacy instruments charted within 7 hours. 7 HOURS!! I do have to say, that is just ridiculous. Anyways, I made an RB2con file for him so we could play it online and he was amazed at the results. A few touch ups have occurred since then with the inclusion of harmonies and reductions but here is the final result. Glad to see more songs from this band, hopefully it might spur a full album release. You never know.

I thought that wasn’t possible because in order to play online, xbox must upgrade the RB to a non-custom supporting version? Please tell me how I’m dead wrong, and how I can play these amazing songs online with friends.

Though you may have seen my roots in classic rock, metal and prog, U2 was actually one of the first bands that had heavy play rotation in my family growing up. Hence, most of their music up to the new millennium was burned into my memory and soon I got into their whole discography as I matured. Their stuff beyond 2006 has not had as much of an impact but I am a fan of their music front to back. Not a believer of favoritism, but if I had to pick 5 of their albums, they would include Boy, The Unforgettable Fire, Achtung Baby, Zooropa, and All That You Can’t Leave Behind. My very first chart on the FoF Forums was actually a really BAD version of “Gone”, and a few other sub-par charts followed (hey, gotta start somewhere). Although there have been past C3 and RB4 releases featuring the group, there is still a lot left to be covered, and I felt that C3thon was the perfect chance to start righting the wrong. Hiccups and hair-pulling were abound in prepping this release, as I did not realize how difficult something so simple can be. Nevertheless, expect more from me with this band in the future!Thanks to TomGuy for providing OD and Practice sections, and battlepenguin for custom venues on all except Walk On (which does not have any). I’m in awe of the quality of music that is showing up for C3Thon. Surely, this has got to inspire folks to donate to a very worthy cause! Let’s allow the hopes and dreams of children to become a reality that everyone here can make happen this Holiday Season….whatever you are able to give, if even just a little, makes all the difference in the world to a child in need. Let’s break that 2k mark this weekend, guys!

One of T-Pain’s earliest and most recognizable songs. Although on the slow and easy side, this song should fun for groups or parties, especially for those looking for more hip-hop type songs. Stand-out instrument would have to be the 3 part harmonies. Vocal help from nsw1-6 and vocal/general polish from TheWay123. Much appreciated : )Song count so far: 110
