I notice you’re not paying close attention and not reading the help documentation.

Yeah, massive brain fart there.
October 19, 2015 at 9:57 pm #457839This is great stuff, as usual ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I am coming back to the PS4 for RB4 after jumping over to the 360 to play customs. SO, I don’t have a “starter” setlist to work from; my 360 setlist is probably 40%+ customs at this point. Does anyone have a PS playlist with most if the official DLC I could use to manually create a new one?
Quoting my own post – I was thinking that a more accurate way to do this would be to use my data from myrockbandsongs.com since it was accurate up until the day the music died.
I don’t think I can get the data exported from there, but I know it’s there in XML format because the Troy Davis Karaoke list maker can pull it. Therefore, I suppose I can get the that data and fiddle around enough to strip the tags and make a workable list.
However, it might be neat if you could work that integration directly into C3 tools. Just a thought…
Thanks again!
EDIT: Actually, I’m an idiot. I just had to click through one more screen to get to the export csv option…
October 19, 2015 at 10:06 pm #457840Does that export in any usable way?

Yep – .csv with selectable columns. There were a couple of other options too.
November 10, 2015 at 8:54 pm #459067Customs n00b here. I downloaded and unpacked, but when I try to open C3CONTools I get this popup:
I’m running Windows 10
Anyone know a fix?
November 10, 2015 at 9:18 pm #459073It’s telling you a required file is not there. The file comes with C3 CON Tools so you either didn’t download the right file, your antivirus deleted that file, or worse yet…you’re trying to run the program from inside the RAR file without extracting first….

VISUALIZER
– Added notification when a song is marked as expert only based on the MIDI file so there is no surprise

SETLIST MANAGER
– Added ability to import your songs from DLCQuickplay.com and MyRockBandSongs.com – see Help document for instructions
– Improved search feature – now one search field lets you search for songs using most available metadata (artist, song, album, genre, subgenre, year released, year recorded)
– Added Blitz (PS3) as an option when creating a new Setlist
GENERAL
– Code improvements throughout to prevent possible crashes when dealing with some types of strings
November 19, 2015 at 1:37 am #459483Quick question: I just started to create a new pack of about 80 songs or so. I selected a folder to save it to that contained files for other songs. The program extracts files 1-80 as expected, but then proceeds to “add files for songs” up to 264 songs. What exactly did I just do?
November 19, 2015 at 2:08 am #459486What does the log tell you exactly?
November 19, 2015 at 2:25 am #459493It’s already finished. It added all the files in the folder the the 81 newly extracted files. The pack consists of 255 songs, and it took about 26 minutes to complete. Sorry about not getting the exact log info before I closed it. As I was typing this, the pack finally finished loading onto the flash drive. It’s 2:87 GB. Should this have happened?
November 19, 2015 at 3:01 am #459495Well, only way to know is to look at the log. It tells you what it’s doing. If it said theres 265 songs then did you check to make sure there are 265 songs? It’s not making them up from thin air…so the songs should be there.

November 19, 2015 at 3:13 am #459497All the songs are there. It extracted the 81 files, and like I quoted the log in my first Comment. It said, for example, “added file for song 255”. It pulled the existing files into this new pack. It’s not a big deal, I just didnt know if this was normal. If the information I gave doesnt help, that’s okay. Thanks for spending the time on this, and let me know if you are able to figure out what caused it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
November 19, 2015 at 3:19 am #459498There’s nothing wrong with this behavior. The pack creator combines all files in the folder. If there were other files in there, and then you added a pack, then of course it’s going to combine them. That’s the point of the pack creator.

November 19, 2015 at 3:31 am #459499I chose to save the pack (81 songs I drag/dropped into the pack creator window) to a folder that contained older songs. I didn’t realize it would pull the other files from said folder I chose; that wasn’t the case with the other packs I’ve made. I misunderstood, I suppose. My apologies.
