v3.7.3
UPGRADE BUNDLER
- Now prompts you to enter a new song ID for your bundled song in case you want to change the ID (you should)
- Can now bundle a harmonies upgrade with just the MIDI file without needing an upgrade DTA file to correct the DTA information
CON EXPLORER
- Changed behavior to allow 'editing' of song ID for songs with no song ID in the DTA file (i.e. it'll add it for you)
RBtoUSB
- Enabled networked drives showing up when selecting your customs drive
- Fixed error thrown after receiving a file from Magma
VISUALIZER
- Fixed playback of songs with certain amount of channels that would result in the wrong channels being assigned to each instrument track
AUDIO ANALYZER
- Fixed drawing of CON files or loose MOGG/OGG files with certain amount of channels that would result in incorrect channels being grouped together and some channels not being drawn correctly
PHASE SHIFT CONVERTER
- Fixed audio separation of songs with certain amount of channels that would result in incorrect channels being grouped together and/or some channels not exporting
- Fixed audio downmixing for songs with certain amount of channels that would result in incorrect assignment of volume levels from the DTA to some channels
WII CONVERTER
- Fixed bug that would make Smart Folder Merge fail if the song's internal name started with 'meta' or 'song'
- Fixed creation of preview clip for songs with certain amount of channels that would result in incorrect assignment of volume levels from the DTA to some channels
SETLIST MANAGER
- Fixed 'wife proof' typo when exporting to Excel
May 22, 2015 at 7:04 pm #446096I have a 10 year old Vista laptop. Yeah…I know.
When I found this site two weeks ago, I used Modio to move files to my USB because Party Buffalo would never recognize the drive. Modio would take 90+ minutes to load up all of the songs (1500+ files) on the stick. It…stunk, to put it nicely.
I started using RBtoUSB a couple of days ago. It takes about 2-3 minutes to load up all the songs…*and* displays a whole bunch of metadata about the song, which makes tracking versions way easier. This software is great. Thanks much for creating it!
May 24, 2015 at 7:53 pm #446245Hey! I don’t know how to word this or else i would’ve searched this by now. When I try to make a pack, it extracts all the songs successfully, then begins to add files to the pack. It doesn’t add everything though. For example I just tried to do a 58 song pack, and it stopped at “Adding files for song 16.” Do you know how to make this work? thanks
May 24, 2015 at 10:21 pm #446264I can understand that not everyone has experience with programming, but do you guys think i’m some sort of wizard, or something?
“Hey, this thing that has been working for nearly two years doesn’t work for me – do you know how to fix it?”
What am I supposed to say to that?
You need to be immensely more specific. Does it crash? If so, what is the error you get? If it doesn’t crash, does it just stop, without building? What happens when you try to continue? How many files are you combining? All loose songs? All packs? Combination of packs and loose songs? Have you tried removing groups of songs 5-6 at a time and trying to build to narrow down the problem song(s)? What version of Windows do you have? I assume you are on the latest version before asking for help, right? Where is it installed? Do you have enough space on your hard drive? Have you tried running the program as Administrator? How about posting the log that Pack Creator gives you? (right click, export log file).
Without at least that much information, “this doesn’t work” is only going to get “yes, it works, you’re doing it wrong” as a response.
May 24, 2015 at 10:25 pm #446266I’ll say this since I’m here and have time, I had a similar issue before when I was on win7 a few versions ago. Don’t recall the exact version, but it fits the description he gave: basically it just stops. It builds it for a bit, then just stopped. I can’t test right now being I’m not at my computer, but I can tell you, it definitely wasn’t due to hard drive space (it was saving to a drive with around 1.4TB on it)
I’ll test it when I get back on my computer, and I’ll try running it as admin, and saving the log if it doesn’t work.
EDIT: Ok, so I couldn’t reproduce it. I swear, it did happen. I can’t give you details on it anymore, but it did happen. I’m not crazy ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
June 10, 2015 at 11:25 pm #447650What the heck? I downloaded the newest version and my Antivirus said it had a virus?!
June 10, 2015 at 11:33 pm #447653That’s your problem from downloading shady software from here. Don’t you know I’m trying to steal your login information so I can pay for midget porn with your credit card?
June 10, 2015 at 11:36 pm #447655Sorry, I don’t think that you’re trying to do anything and I’m thinking it’s just my Antivirus, sorry again.
It said it had this: Trojan:W32/Zbot.
June 10, 2015 at 11:39 pm #447656That’s a new one. Typical one is a different thing it detects. It’s a heuristic detection of suspicious code that it doesn’t know what it does. I’m pretty sure it’s because of the PS3 MIDI encryption part of it.
June 13, 2015 at 4:08 am #447832Hey, there’s a small bug I ran into with 3.7.3 running on Windows 7. After freshly formatting a USB stick and telling RBtoUSB to copy TU4 to the stick, when I then copy some other file to the stick, such as the song cache or the global options file, TU4 is then listed twice. Both instances point to the same file on the stick. If I close and reopen the drive, TU4 is then listed only once.
It seems harmless enough, but it did confuse me the first time it happened.

Happened to me too. I was convinced I had messed up something myself so I didn’t mention it but apparently I didn’t.
June 13, 2015 at 1:40 pm #447855Same thing over here. Was positive that I had done something wrong. Guess not.
June 15, 2015 at 3:16 am #448015Sometime this week I’m going to issue an update…and everyone who uses any feature that uploads to Imgur (i.e. Visualizer) will want to update. A couple of weeks after this update goes out, all prior versions of C3 CON Tools will no longer be able to upload to Imgur. This is on purpose. Update your damn copy of the tool with the update ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
June 15, 2015 at 9:54 pm #448134A question about RBtoUSB and about the new xbox behavior in general… I formatted my flash drive on the 360, and installed the new system update to it. On the 360 dashboard it appears there are 29.2 gigs free. However on windows and in RBtoUSB it says there are 480 kb free and by enabling viewing hidden folders I see there is a folder called “Xbox360” with a ton of 1 gb files in it called “data000” “data001” etc. Because of these RBtoUSB thinks the drive is full.
What’s up with that?
