Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like their new song is going to be very easy to chart (or play) either… https://soundcloud.com/jzharris9/babymetal-road-of-resistance

January 12, 2015 at 12:17 am #436011Road to Resistance wouldn’t have been that tricky as much as just time consuming to do if it wasn’t for the Bass and Keys really, damn Power Metal and their buried Bass and Keys ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
EDIT: Aaaand I just noticed the harmonies during the “whoa” part which were so buried I didn’t notice them at all before just now, okay yeah tricky stuff to chart indeed lol
January 14, 2015 at 4:24 am #436255RPP+MP3: Download
CON: 1x Drums | 2x Drums Newest Version [01/14]
Okay, I had some problems with this song, so I would like some feedback about some stuff. Mainly it’s in sync, because it seems to change many during the song, but to similar BPM, is kind of confusing. I would also like some feedback on the solo, because it just ridiculous, its just to many notes and its to hard to play. I’ve charted with like .75 speed, so the notes are actually there, so I don’t know how to make it more fun instead of just impossible to play. The drums are also weird, and I had to do some stuf like a green tom followed by a green cymbal, wich may be weird to play if you don’t use pro drums, and the final drum fill is like the guitar solo, it ridiculous, but those notes are there lol
I might increase the dificulty tier for the bass and drums later
Regular drums comming soon, and I’ll probably be working on Akumuno Rondo, since the guitar is done, and the Live audio from the Red Night CD makes it easier to hear the bass.
Speaking about the Red Night CD, what do you guys think about using the Catch Me if You Can from that instead of the one from the regular album? The studio version has a lot of eletronic drums over the normal ones, wich make the drums either hard to hear or to play. The live version also has 2 guitar solos, a bass solo and a drum solo in the begining. It’s more work, but I think it would be better for everyone haha
January 14, 2015 at 12:41 pm #436261I’d love some stuff from Red Night, especially that song because of the solos from the Kami band at the beginning ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> Those would be really fun to play
January 16, 2015 at 12:19 am #436326Awesome work on Headbangya Dude ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_emot-3.gif” /> ,Guitar and bass are great and didn’t noticed any synch issue. The guitar solo is hard as hell, but is what it is,the chart seems to fit perfectly to the sound so I can’t figure any suggestion about the way to improve its playability (Maybe something more double strum-work focused instead of hammer-on pull-off madness?)
Anyway, the solo is so shorty that I don’t think its difficulty could ruin the experience to anyone(I made 42% at first try LOL)
Akumu no rondo next?? Awesome!! That one it’s gonna be hard for sure with that Meshuggah-type rythm I’ll be waiting for it.
About Catch me if you can…I’ll be fine whatever version you’ll want to do.Obviously, the live version should be more fun to play with the Kami band intro and all the thing but it’s up to you,of course. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
BTW,were the IDZ charts useful in some way?just curious dude,Are you planning to add Bubble dreamer to the list?
Keep on rocking!!!

I did download the file here for the time I began working on the song, but I haven’t touched it yet. Another user was working on it and it was almost done so he would send me the files sometime to complete it, but I’m working on other songs until then.

Oh shit, it really is. Youtube blocked it. It was the chart for Road of Resistance (Just the trailer part)
Does this one work?
January 17, 2015 at 10:52 pm #436486I’ve got a boner with that video (Well,not really,but you know what I mean) ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
January 19, 2015 at 9:38 pm #436630Since I finally seem to have caught a work in progress song, which I can pretty much play on keys, I thought I’d finally try authoring something. After getting the project file for Headbanger and spending about 6 hours setting up reaper and watching the tutorial video, I feel like I made some good progress on the normal keys. Pro seems harder to get into, since the preview thingy apparantly doesn’t work with it and I can’t check my work on the fly.
If/when I get to a satisfying conclusion, would it be okay to send the project file to you, Mathespio, or post it in the thread?

Sure, you can either post something here or send the midi to me and I’ll update the project and the con files.
I think the only way to preview pro keys is by sound. I’ve done 3 pro keys song and haven’t found a way to see the notes for the pro chart, but you just have to sync it to the regular keys and its all right haha
But yeah, just make sure you unmute the track for the pro keys and it will play the exact notes you placed on the track, so you can check if the note is the right one
February 12, 2015 at 11:29 pm #438241Hey, I just registered so I can say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to you for these customs, someone linked me from the Babymetal subreddit, keep up the epic work can’t wait for RoR and Do Ki Do Ki Morning!
May 18, 2015 at 2:02 am #445766Akumu no Rondo will be out this week ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
Not only I got a little sick of charting, but I also got a job, so I was not doing anything, but now I’ve finished Akumu no Rondo (Just need to set the sessions, make the con and test it) and I’ll do the drums for Head Bangya! so I’ll be able to post that too
