Hi everyone, I’m IaSg14! After a year and a half of playing customs & about 11 months of charting customs, I’ve decided to finally join C3.
However, as you’ve probably inferred from the title, I only chart for Clone Hero at the moment. You may have seen a few of my customs in the database under submissions from ataeaf (e.g. William Tell Overture (Live) – Glen Campbell, Madhouse (Original Version) – Anthrax…) with added drums and vocals but usually, my charts just contain the following:Expert Guitar
Expert Bass
Lyrics
(Sometimes) Expert KeysSince I don’t have the technical knowledge to do RB3 Cons for my customs, I’m currently unable to submit any of my 100+ charts to the database. However, much like my agreement with ataeaf, I’m more than happy for anyone to convert my charts to RB3 format and add some drums/vocals/pro-instruments in there if they fancy. There are just a couple of things that I ask though:
1) If you’re gonna submit my charts, please let me know first & credit me where appropriate in the post info.
2) Most of my charts will need a bit of reworking for RB3 (e.g. converting taps to HOPOs, removing extended sustains although NONE of my charts contain open notes & I usually avoid keys on guitar, if that makes it easier). I’m happy for people to change those and, if necessary, touch up the tempo map a bit if they’re adding drums but I ask that aside from removing Clone Hero exclusive notes, the rest of the chart should remain unchanged. If you do want to edit/improve anything, please send me a message first.I’ll post a list of the charts I’ve currently made for Clone Hero with download links attached underneath this introduction a bit later. My musical taste is primarily Rock/Metal (especially from the 70s-80s) so I’m hoping my charts will go down well in this community!
Until then, I look forward to sharing my custom content and hope you guys enjoy what I’ve got to offer; I’ve certainly enjoyed a lot of amazing C3 charts so it feels good to give something back to you guys. I’m also happy to take feedback about the quality of my charts, although I should mention that my charting style has been compared to a mix of GH:WT and RB2 era, e.g. fun over realism but still trying to stick to proper tabs where suitable.

I intend to add to this list as I make more charts (obviously) so keep an eye out for more additions.
If any of these individual links don’t work or are incorrect, you can also visit this link for a Google Docs spreadsheet containing all the above charts (and some more). I’m aware some of these songs are already on C3 as customs but I’ve included them anyway, just in case you fancy playing someone else’s interpretation of some great music.
You can use the spreadsheet to see my WIP list too, although I may post them here at some point as well.
Oh yeah, and feel free to make requests! I can’t guarantee I’ll do them but I have a 250+ to-do list so you never know if what you want is on there!
January 9, 2020 at 8:49 pm #509099[RESERVED FOR FUTURE CHARTS; NO IDEA IF I NEED TO DO THIS OR NOT BUT I FIGURE BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY]
January 9, 2020 at 10:19 pm #509101Oh snap, that’s a really great list of songs! I’m a chump so I don’t chart anything, but I’m planning on finally starting to contribute by learning this year.
Glad to see some Molly Hatchet and Paralyzed charted though, hopefully someone will pick up on these and make em full band!
January 9, 2020 at 10:20 pm #509102I’m very interested in full-banding The Zutons and The Fratellis songs you’ve listed. No time soon, but down the line. I’m currently charting Whistle for the Choir.
January 9, 2020 at 10:39 pm #509103I’m interested in RHCP’s songs, I talked to you through messages!
January 9, 2020 at 11:04 pm #509105Got your message HighFlyingBirds and sent you a reply!
To everyone else, thanks for the kind words! If you’re liking the list so far, I’m excited to reveal stuff I’ve got planned for the next few months!January 10, 2020 at 4:36 pm #509114AnonymousHi everyone, I’m IaSg14! After a year and a half of playing customs & about 11 months of charting customs, I’ve decided to finally join C3.
However, as you’ve probably inferred from the title, I only chart for Clone Hero at the moment. You may have seen a few of my customs in the database under submissions from ataeaf (e.g. William Tell Overture (Live) – Glen Campbell, Madhouse (Original Version) – Anthrax…) with added drums and vocals but usually, my charts just contain the following:
Expert Guitar
Expert Bass
Lyrics
(Sometimes) Expert Keys
Since I don’t have the technical knowledge to do RB3 Cons for my customs, I’m currently unable to submit any of my 100+ charts to the database.
If you do want to edit/improve anything, please send me a message first.
I’ll post a list of the charts I’ve currently made for Clone Hero with download links attached underneath this introduction a bit later.
Thanks for reading!
hey, you are recharting a awesome chart songs… like me, i’m beginner and player of Guitar Flash, and i had a bunch of Guitar Flash Customs that i’ve been charted… my or this project will made this a best challenge for me…
there had tutorial at this forum, look at it and carefully to understand the methods hehe…
January 11, 2020 at 1:36 am #509128Glad to see some Molly Hatchet…charted though, hopefully someone will pick up on these and make em full band!
I’ve got some Molly Hatchet in the works!
January 11, 2020 at 4:43 pm #509157Cool! Feel free to use the guitar bass/charts for those songs if you fancy. Gator Country is a personal favourite chart of mine (although it does contain extended sustains and POSSIBLY tap notes) but all of them are absolutely banging on guitar!
UPDATE: Added new charts!
The Easybeats 01:
Good Times
Sorry
She’s So FineI also did Friday On My Mind but since there’s already a really great chart of that on C3, I figure it’s not needed here.
January 11, 2020 at 5:32 pm #509159So I love the contributing. I dont know if you are charting the new ones or digging up files on your system. I looked at converting Def Leppard wasted but I almost feel the conversion would be more work than just recharting it.
Im not trying to be discouraging but have some tips/suggestions if you are indeed making these.
Avoid bpm markers outside of measure markers. Wasteds chart has a bunch at 1/4 and 1/8 measures that dont convert well.
For me, conversions are much easier at 480 resolution rather the 192 wasted is done in.
I am fairly new to rock band authoring as well and the part I found most helpful was learning how to make a solid tempo map in reaper. That made all my old charts just flow and so much easier to work with.
I still might look at wasted again and of course I would give you credit, good luck and I hope you stick around. Feel free to reach out anytime.
January 11, 2020 at 5:56 pm #509162Thanks for the feedback!
I don’t know the technical ins & outs of charting for Rock Band with Reaper (Moonscraper all the way for me) but I can confirm that every single one of these tracks works perfectly in Clone Hero. Sync issues can be fixed by deleting the metadata delay & I’ve paid no attention to the resolution settings because, as I said, they all worked in that game.
BPM markers outside of measure markers seems a little inaccurate when pre-90s recordings can fluctuate in tempo throughout, although I can imagine this is a bigger issue for a game like Rock Band with a much tighter engine than CH.
Again, all of these charts will need work to make them RB ready but what I’m offering is a free tempo map & note placement for guitar/bass. The rest is up to you guys. I’d recommend using the Def Leppard ones, rubydanger, as they’re all great fun to play. Entirely up to you, of course.
January 13, 2020 at 8:21 am #509201I should clarify that a little, the TS at the measure thing I was referring to is only for conversions, but I found an easy work-around
I went ahead and did Wasted, if you want to check it out. I am waiting to get drums for it before I add it to the main database
Feel free to link it if you want.
January 27, 2020 at 9:35 pm #509409UPDATE: Added new charts!
Featuring:
Come Follow Me
Under The Sky
Demon Eyes
Spectacular
Vida (I Want You)
One More RevivalSurprised nobody showed any interest in these guys after their awesome Never Too Late from GH:WT. Turns out they have a bunch of other great songs too (with plenty of alternatives for a potential The Answer 02 in the future!). Enjoy!
January 28, 2020 at 2:52 am #509411Whatever that mystery Rainbow song is in the spreadsheet, judging by the year of 1975, I’d probably be interested in converting it to RB3 for you once you release it.
