Help with my second ever drum chart! – More help please!

      Hello,

      I am still a baby at charting drums, and need a little advice.

      In this song, the drummer is for much of it playing a tom, the snare, and the hi hat all at once (using the pedal for hi hat). Now I know that the RB2+ drums are capable of using a pedal for hi hat but this isn’t a standard setup.

      How should I author this?

      Here is a video of the song:

      A good view of the drummer starts about 2:16.

      Also, if you can tell whether the drummer is also using the bass drum, that would be great <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I can’t tell whether or not its there over the tom.

      Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

        The drummer is playing kicks between snares.

         

        Pedal hi hat notes should only be authored if it is the only drum being played in a section of a song. With how this song is played, you won’t be needing to author those.

         

        But near the end of the song, there are hi hat notes during the tom-snare disco beat that you should include.

          So I just omit those hi hats then?

           

          At the moment that looks like this : BO, BR, BO etc. Or am I way off track with this? <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

            OK so I am mostly done with this song but I am confused by some of the later drums parts. I know virtually nothing about drums. Please help!

             

            Here is the project: Project

             

            The spots I’m having trouble with are at: 64.4, 68.4, 71.4.50, 74.4, 76, 78.3, and 80.2. Basically all the little fills towards the end of the song.

             

            For the 76 part, it looks like the drummer is crossing over from what would be the Green Tom to the Snare (could be Yellow Tom, it’s hard to see), all the while playing Blue Tom. At least that is what it looks like in the video above. It doesn’t show the drummer at the other spots so I just winged it as best I could. But I’m a stranger to drums so it’s probably wrong! Please help so I can release this song!
