Bring Me The Horizon – Can You Feel My Heart/Sleepwalking/Chelsea Smile
Chelsea smile is what I consider to be their breakthrough song, so I put it on here, as it is well known, and a song I’d love to see. However, their newest album brought Can you feel my heart and sleepwalking, which are great songs vocally, and brings synth heavily into the mix which allows us to utilize the keyboard. Both of these songs are powerful, catchy, and would be a great addition.
Escape the Fate – This War Is Ours
Challenging instrumentals, a great vocal song for core lovers, particularly a duo, great build to it.
Pierce The Veil – King For A Day/Bulls In The Bronx
King for a day is great for vocals and has a good riff, but honestly Bulls in the bronx is a much more all around interesting song for both vocals and instrumentals, though most would probably vote for KFAD as it has a featuring vocalist in it (Kellin Quinn)
Paramore – Born For This
The ending song to their second album RIOT! is one hell of an anthem. Great vocals with a variety of ear candy (Gang Vocals, solo parts, powerful melody, great lyrics), the drums are killer on this song especially when it builds, and the guitars help drive the song to be a powerhouse.
Mariana’s Trench – Pop 101/Desperate Measures/Truth or Dare
Their lead single off their upcoming album is something I could see great for a party. It’s a parody of modern pop, so there’s a variety of instrumental sections that will keep things interesting, and the vocals even more so. Alternatively, off their album Ever After are two songs that would be great all around, catchy vocals with some major talent backing them up, and a great beat/instrumentals.
Dirty Loops – Sexy Girls/Sayonara Love
Dirty loops is easily one of the most talented bands I’ve known of. Their debut album is kickass, and I am just picking two possibilities off of a 5 star album. Both are catchy, show some major technicality, and allow us to use the guitar/keyboard to follow the synth beat as they do not have a guitarist, just a bassist. Don’t let that turn you off though, as an avid fan of metal, I can easily say this band is in my modern top five addictions.
Fall Of Troy – The three pack GH DLC, I would love to have it converted to add to FCPREMIX, as GH DLC is now offline. GHTOBRB3 seems to be dead, so I have no way of playing these awesome songs
Hands Like Houses – Introduced Species
This song is just an epic anthem, not particularly challenging instrumentally, but I love this song haha.
Isles & Glaciers – Clush
This Post hardcore supergroup brought the talent to their debut and only EP. With a collection of talented musicians, and three vocalists, this song kicked ass. They’re back after a long hiatus and I’d like to celebrate with this song.
The Reason ft. Tegan and Sara – We’re So Beyond This
I’ve always wanted more duo songs, and this has a male and female dynamic that’s just killer, with a great band backing them up.
That’s it for now! These are my top picks, and I tried to pick them in a way that I know they’d be songs that others would enjoy for all instruments and difficulties. Thanks for all your work guys, hope Rock Band can keep rocking!
